Told us "they don't care about grade", while they've all scored more than 1560 in SAT💀
@Ray-m4y9 ай бұрын
Thing is that the grades are like at the bottom line, it’s like the bare minimum because they’re not impressed since almost every student applying already has outstanding grades. What they focus on is beyond the grades what else can u offer that will set you aside from your peers applying .

Went to Harvard after transferring from a small community college. It didn't have a renown faculty with publications and citations like H but students had much more personal attention. Students are pretty much the same everywhere as one sees from this video. It is ethnic diversity admissions look for not GPA and SAT scores which like IQ tests have been totally discredited. That appeals to alumni, a very important economic resource. Yes prestige is important, I've been successfully trading on my diploma since receiving it, but many schools have that. It's essentially meaningless.
@daisydupe307611 ай бұрын
How did you get into Harvard from a community college? I’m going to community college, and I want to set my goal high from the very beginning. I want to try my hardest so that I won’t have any regrets. I’m not specifically looking to go to Harvard, but I’m interested in other prestigious schools.
@christophermorgan326111 ай бұрын
Recommendations are much more important than grades and test scores. Also knowing the scholarly work of a faculty member of the school you apply to so that it appears a necessity, good luck!.@@daisydupe3076

It’s surprising how many people believe that attending an Ivy League school like Harvard guarantees wealth and success after graduation. However, the reality is quite different. In fact, only about 1% of all college graduates become millionaires.
@ree51585 ай бұрын
Yes, but 88% of millionaire are college graduates (according to the motley fool), and while it is true that going to college doesn't make you a millionaire, i'd like to see where you are getting that 1% number from, especially considering there are around 24 million millionaires in the U.S., and I don't think college will on average make you 8 times less likely to become a millionaire. Your literally just spreading misinformation. You are also forgetting that ivy league schools only make up the top 0.4% of the college student population. According to the harvard website itself, the average salary for a graduate from Harvard Business School is 185,000 dollars a year. That is an amazing starting salary so clearly your wrong. If we look at fields that are more academic or scientific, the more prestigious institution you graduate from the better jobs you will get and the better research you will know how to do, at that point it ins't all about the money, it's about what you can discover.

I might sound extremely naive but later on in life none of this matters. You could have failed in school and unemployed but contentment is what matters at the end. Life is limited and the real prize in life is if you’re happy. No guarantees in life.. you could be unemployed living in a third world country but still be happy living the most basic life. You guys might think I’m stupid but you’re going to realise this in time.. this route to success means nothing.. happiness and quality of life is everything
