I always wished there was an option to leave with the child. Ashur despite his high minded ideas is a slaver, raider, and a abuser of his “people.”madia seems like a nice woman but it seems like she’s a face for wernher who was a raider before and even assuming his wanting ashur dethroned is a genuine ideal change and not just revenge, he is shown to be very unscrupulous as to getting it done. And it seems he’ll mistreat the child to get a cure sooner. Not everyone, but by and large the two groups. Are made for each other let them kill each other. And leave with the kid to lamplight, or even the brotherhood maybe. Neither side deserves her.

Ashur was an evil bastard. He could have sent his raiders to acquire robots to work in the steel mill, set the slaves free and sold the surplus ammo to the various groups in the Capitol Wastes. I always side with the slaves in my playthru

I wish we could have literally stolen the kid and left Pittsburgh with her maybe adopting her or letting Vault 101 or Little Lamplight take care of her, she does not deserve to grow up in a toxic city surrounded by literal idiots. Also, her mutation (being immune to radiation) isn’t as rare as the game makes it out to be, 99% of Massachusetts and Maine’s Children of Atom cult have the mutation as well, and I’m pretty sure some FEV based creatures are immune to radiation as well: The Master, Super Mutants, Psykers, etc. Either through a natural mutation or FEV’s tampering, it really isn’t as rare as Ashur and his wife make it out to be.

I used to HATE how it all ended back in the day when it first came out but out of all the DLC I think it was the best narrative story.

The thing that makes the Pitt a good DLC is that there is no good answer. Each answer will leave the kid with a monster.
