GOD THIS SLAPS AND IM NOT EVEN AT THE CHORUS edit: right, time to rant the vocals are /so/ goddamn strong in this one, and it really brings out the energy of this song! lyrics are incredibly written, props to David! and my god i have to talk about that last chorus and its buildup - the high part, all the harmonies coming together and the music pausing in between is such a bop and i love it. not to mention the harmonies in general make it sound so strong, that AND the growling and skatting in between? you and the team have nailed it again, man, honestly. probably my new favourite cover of yours - now time to put it on loop.

So I am just going to say this here. Will. This is an insanely well-crafted cover of the song. From David's lyrics to your vocals to Dictate's mixing, all are examples of what's good in music. I do want to focus on one thing though that I haven't seen talked about through the comments. Your customized subtitles. As a person who has been making subs for music videos, I am exceedingly glad to see the artistry in those english subs, matching closely with the style of the japanese script. To say nothing of being sure to have stylized subtitles and going for that 4th (or 5th?) mile of what I've seen being expected out of musical artists here on this platform. @@willstetson That's funny hearing that, for me, since I literally have not delved into making custom subtitles. I have only worked with Aegissub to soft encode the lyrics, since my mother is a sign language interpreter, and I can understand German and English, I've been around the translating solely for others' understanding crowd. So, now seeing people like you creating more artistic subtitles to match the feel of song/visuals (however you do it), has been a whole new world and quite awesome inspiration for using subtitles in new ways I hadn't thought of yet! I wish I could give you some pointers with the customizing part, to help you out, if you were to ask, but as I said before, I don't know it yet. In any case, I find what you're doing to be cool and different, and appreciate you being here! Thanks Will! And those helping Will, thanks to ya, too!
