The leaders of Australia, New Zealand and Japan all congratulated U.S. President-elect Donald Trump on his election victory, with some speaking to Trump in phone calls following the results. South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol meanwhile said he had spoken to Trump on the phone to discuss North Korean "provocations."

During Vietnam War, over 320,000 South Korean men volunteered and served in Vietnam and over 5,000 men were KIA. They paid their debt a long time ago with bloodshed. You don’t see many European countries repaying their debt from WW2 except for UK.
