well, I'm from Vietnam and I can also tell right away that the aesthetic style of this group is very specifically fit the taste of the gay communities 😅 I'm gay myself and I do find these guys to be absolutely attractive ☺the bear body type, the beard and the dad bod are definitely craved after by us gays 😅

“Bo bo ji” is actually a street food in China. Otter said it in this funny cute way showing his excitement to eat it in one of their vlogs and it immediately became a popular thing about him among their fans.

Although they do appeal to a gay demographic the title is implying things about them that they haven't confirmed :s. It might be best to change it...

I don't understand why the comments under the other video are unanimously blind to it 😅 Whether it's the gay community I'm a part of, or fans of the Simplified Chinese world (Bilibili and Douyin), we all agree that ProducePandas' target clientele is self-explanatory. The producer behind the project is himself an out gay man. Not everyone on the team is gay, of course. However gay sexuality is seen by the authorities as a moral blemish, a piece of windowpaper that can't be poked through, or else you risk being shut down as a whole. No one in mainland China's entertainment industry is free to come out, or else they wouldn't be able to survive in the industry at all. I thought this was so obvious outside of the ultra-conservative Chinese world, but I didn't expect that the comments section of another video gave me the exact opposite impression. Very surprising. BTW you really look so delicious in this video, can we expect another videos about ProducePandas, pls?

It's kinda obvious what type of audience they're aiming to. But since then I kinda wonder whether they're just doing all this cuz it's the only way to their dream, or it's really who they are. If they're straight then it's hella creepy having tons of people with the same gender simping and shipping them with everything. Also it just sounds so wrong in many ways.💀

Amm yo si concuerdo conque es una banda dirigido a un publico de hombres gays mas concretamente al tipo de publico que disfruta del subgeneron del yaoi conocido como bara donde los personajes suelen ser mas gorditos o musculosos o una combinacion de ambos y en muchos casos estos personajes suelen retratarse con una personalidad adorable y dulce quitando toda la lujuria del manga a parte los integrantes de produce pandas parecen estar emparejados mr17 con husky y ding con otter el unico que parece estar solo es cass eso lo podemos ver por las interacciones que tienen en sus instagram lo que puede ser solo para el marketing
