Thinking of John Wetton on his birthday 6/12 yesterday led me here. A really excellent version of "Valkyrie" live by John with /ASIA\... I just love this song. so much. "Heat Of The Moment" was an iconic music moment for the rise of MTV and for 80s pop culture itself. I still love the band's first single, and always will. Having SAID that... I hope that BOTH original *and* new generations of /ASIA\ fans continue to explore the DEEPER aspects of John and Geoff's career (esp with /ASIA\) as well. The reunion era of /ASIA\ just gave us fans SO many new songs to discover and savor - and the phenomenal "Valkyrie" could be my favorite song of them all.

Agreed. Love them all, but Gravitas is my favorite as well. Consistently strong throughout, beautifully written and performed, and a fitting way for Wetton to end his phenomenal career.
