One of my favorite guitar players and this is my favorite reaction channel. Thanks again!

Steve Vai is one of the few men in the world who have reached the level of being called GUITAR GOD.! His contribution to the world of guitarists is so great that it has served as a great influence for many. His style, way of playing, staging, the way he makes love to the guitar is morbidly excellent and wonderful.

What you said about hearing lyrics in his playing, that is exactly what makes SV so unique. His notes are the letters that make up musical words. You have it EXACTLY right! Steve Vai can literally make a guitar talk. He has a song where he does just that. But whatch the movie crossroads he is in it and does all the guitar work
@rogerdaly63268 ай бұрын
Actually most of the guitar in that movie was played by slide player Ry Cooder. He played all of Ralph Macchio's parts. Steve played all his parts and Ralph's in the end duelling guitar showdown.
@Dale-so3cj8 ай бұрын
@rogerdaly6326 I stand corrected. He didn't play all the guitar in it, just the great guitar work in the movie. Do you deny that he can make a guitar talk. If so then you need to listen to more of his music. And still that was a great movie and the duel at the end was the best part, not to mention the most difficult guitar work in the movie was played by Steve. Not arguing just conversing. Do you deny that it is a great movie for them to check out?

@@Dale-so3cj Now you're really going to hate me , i saw Stevie Ray 4 times live , never met him though. The 2nd time i saw him he was the opening act , followed by The Alarm , then the headliners The Pretenders. I turned 59 yesterday and i started going to concerts when i was 12 , Aerosmith being my first concert. Second was KISS. Since then i've been to roughly 700 concerts in my life. Seen most of my musical idols & met most of them. Going to see a Tom Petty tribute band tonight as a matter of fact.

Asia & BJ if you want to see a truly insane video of Steve Vai check out the video for a song called Knappsack. Steve was recovering from a right hand injury so he plays the entire song with just his left hand. It is truly jaw dropping.
