I really like that hair trim style. I would definitely do that for my Maltese dogs. Thank you for showing us how to do this. I really like the "Korean" cut better.

Grooming from an owners perspective; very insightful indeed; very realistic and gives ideas on variations customed depending on the dog's lifestyle.

Great info but arm was covering 90% of what you were doing. Wish camera angle was better. Would really love to have seen how you did his face. Also would be great if products used were listed. Still don't know brand of the shears you love so much. 😣

Hi Laura I moved from NYC to Palm Beach County Florida. My Maltese Puppy was cut Korean style in NY. I’m having an extremely hard time finding a groomer here in PBC that knows the Korean dog face style. Would you happen to know of anyone at all? I’d appreciate your help. Charmaine

Difficult to see the clipping. Either the camera was too far away or when it was close enough, all I could see was your left hand. Would have been better if I could see up close where the right hand was clipping.

Unless you are a professional groomer people are not going to understand or have the skills to do this. I have had a beautiful Shi-poo for 14 years and I still can't cut her face. Oh btw I raised/bred & show/conformation Newfoundlands for a decade so I am an experienced groomer. Yes, camera angles sucked and the camera was not close enough. Your dog is amazing though. Beautiful and well behaved. He seems very happy to be there w/ you.

Best brand of shampoo to use on Asian style cuts?
@cristyf5431 Жыл бұрын
I've had my shih tzu for just over a year. I started out just doing normal, more teddy bear, cuts. I learned by watching utube groomers. Recently I went on to Asian fusion cuts. They take more time but are so adorable! I also learned that by watching videos and while this one didn't show close up very well the cut is great and you get the general idea. It's a great face cut! I think many people learn to groom their dogs, including faces, from these videos.
