3:05 HELLOOO I didn’t expect to be suddenly exposed like this! As a german I have to say though that most of our R are pretty soft too, foreigners just pronounce them harshly. Actually our Rs are often similar to the French ones
@Yamizan
@Yamizan Жыл бұрын
Ich denke, die meisten sprechen das R so extrem aus, weil sie es von ihrer Sprache nicht kennen. Sie wissen nicht wie sie ihren Mund richtig bewegen müssen um dieses Geräusch zu erzeugen und deshalb machen sie es einfach so wie sie es am besten können, sozusagen. 😊 Das kommt dann meist erst mit der Zeit. Aber ich finde, hauptsache man versteht was die Person sagen will.. es muss nicht perfekt sein.

I also thought that, it's mostly a cliché bc German R actually sounds soft. As a French person I would have said their Rs sounded like Belgian French, that is harshly pronounced.

Well, the good points of knowing French while learning a language are : - You have many sounds with slight differences so if you learn a language like Turkish or Polish, you',ll probably need less training to be able to pronunce their letters. - French have Greek and Latin basis which make French language sharing some words structures with every countries related to Latin or Greek, ofc more for Latin, Greek influenced words are often the most international one. - French had a lot of Influence and it was language of royalty, meaning for centuries people were learning French around the world and included some of our words to their languages, for example but for a slightly different cause, 30% of English Vocabulary is French. - French have some very difficult grammar which make us used to deal with and to understand more complex structure, as most of our words have a gender that we have to respect. - We probably have some slang words from every single part of the planet Now, i'd say most French speakers will struggle to learn a language, since French is a very living language and everybody is just speaking that way because it's what we used to. There is not absolute rules, we learn some but there is always a significant portion of exceptions, so most French will not even try to learn their own language. French language does not have that much words, so we use a lot of imagery, so a word can mean a lot of different things depending on the context, so we mostly speak with imagery instead of our real words and most of them are not updated and sound obsolete since people can't bear to remember those when we have easier ways to say it, so, i think it make us probably worst than anybody. Btw, i think the fact rules of French language is created by aesthetic and historical matter is something that often make us do a lot of mistakes in foreign languages, we have a different common sens due to this fact. According to EF EPI, France is 34th in English, which is one of the lowest in Europe, only Belarus, Ukraine, Turkey, Slovenia and Bosnia are worst than us but it's more a development matter there and their languages are really different. I think, in conclusion if you master French you can get a few words in many languages but it's rarely significant, you have to learn and be able to remember, we're used to remember since our spoken language work like this but for writing it's different and most French are not able to properly write it, and it's great to learn from French for people who are talented for language but It's ofc not the biggest part

@zelephyre8336
@zelephyre8336 Жыл бұрын
