Years ago I had some hedges removed on my property, was a fairly big job. I am a female single and I went downtown and found some young Latino men to do the job. Once the job was completed there was a young pretty black female approx. 20 years old walking down my street. I caught one of the young men checking her out. I think they were from like Guatemala or Honduras they were not Mexican or Columbian. So I asked the young man do you like black girls and he said yes I do but they don't like me. I then asked him if he liked white girls he said no their skin is too white and pale, he liked the skin color of black girls their skin is so pretty and it looks so soft. I was shocked because I did not know that these young Latinos like black girls.

I really like how you just let him express himself without talking over him. Watching you and your husband made me realize that I “help” people by trying to finish their words. I’m gonna do my best to not do that.
@dafansuetrytodoitall3 жыл бұрын
Awww that’s awesome that you chose to self-reflect and create some change. It’s not easy. Another thing that could help is re-stating someone’s sentence to see if you understood in the way the other person meant it. I’ve found that skill to be really useful!

Cute couple, and though it was filmed over 3 years ago can't help to feel a bit of empathy/disappointment on behalf of the wife. it sounds like he actually fetishised black women and that it could have been any of them and that nothing much singled out wife except her openness to him.
@dafansuetrytodoitall6 ай бұрын
That’s an interesting thought. When we saw this comment, we talked about how we each understand what it means to have a fetish. I never saw him as a fetishizer. Before we got together I asked him all about his interest in black women because I didn’t have time to waste with any games. I knew he was serious when he explained his first marriage to a black woman and how he stuck up for her when his mother found it hard to accept. I believe that I respect myself enough to marry someone who loves me with all his heart and would give me the world. He has proven his love and commitment to me time and time again ♥️

I know this video is a year old and I just saw this , I have a question you may or may not want to answer this question. First question how do I break the ice to talk to the Asian women at work I notice that they only stay among themselves. I am a mail clerk for the Research Department for the top Hospital and University in Maryland they are so beautiful and I like to get to know them but how do I get them to trust me as a Black Trans Man that is almost sixty years old who is Classically Train in Piano and Percussion plus most of them speak very little English. I don't want anything from them but to love just one beautiful young lady, or is it against the Asian culture to date a trans man and plus I am a Dark Skinned I know many black women will not date me for two reason first being a trans man second is being dark skinned. thank you both if you can answer these. Ross
@dafansuetrytodoitall3 жыл бұрын
Hi Ross! I would say it’s best to be yourself and allow opportunities to present themselves to you. Perhaps the work environment is not the best for breaking the ice….maybe waiting for a social work event is good. Be open to new opportunities while staying true to yourself.

Having a preference is fine, I believe when that preference is due to hating another race because of personal experience/societal/media baises that’s when it’s not healthy. But having a preference is okay, there’s many healthy and reasonable reasons why someone would have a preference and they shouldn’t be taken personally.
@dafansuetrytodoitall4 жыл бұрын
I agree. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and it shouldn’t be dictated by hate, fear or discrimination.

@designerclaudiabeleza53303 жыл бұрын
Why is it wrong to have a preference?! There is a difference between discriminating against someone from having a human right and civil rights. I am not offended or feel left out if an individual say they don’t find black woman suitable for a romantic relationship. People have their preference. I mostly likely won’t find that person suitable either.
@dafansuetrytodoitall3 жыл бұрын
I agree....I think it becomes muddled when preferences are based on unconscious bias and prejudice that we haven’t yet acknowledged.
