The song is really hiting with those nostalgic emotions. The text "I ciebie też bardzo" meaning "and i really do you to" would be an anwser to "i love you" also this whole song is full of talking about memories of the past. People say that it isn't as good as others Męskie Granie main songs but i would say that this one is special.

This is my fav Męskie Granie song, what they did with the lyrics is pure genius! In English you say "I love you - I love you too", the word "love" is in both parts. But in polish you say "Kocham cię - ja ciebie też" and the word "love" is only in the firts part ("kocham") but it is so deeply engraved in the meaning of the second part that you really do not need to say the word "love" there! It is so poetic, because when you say you love someone it is what you feel, not others, you might not be loved back, no matter how many times you say the word "love" ("kocham"). But when someone says "Ja (I) ("love") ciebie (you) też (too), bardzo (very much)" it is what you receive, the love is there even thou the word for "love" is not being said. And I think this is why many people get so emotional from this song, maybe some of us have said "I love you" so often but rarely heard "Ja ciebie też, bardzo". And not to mention that videoooo it is sic!

the video was shot in the city of Łódź. If you haven't been there, be sure to visit them. It has an incredibly interesting history and therefore architecture.

Of course there were cuts, but all these places exist IRL and are connected just like on the video, includding tunnel or interiors, also that sphere from 3:30 (IRL its silver, its spherical cinema). It's Łódź and that part of the city is called New Center of Lodz, it's still in development, most of the video is object called EC1. years ego it was "Elektrociepłownia 1", it means Combined heat and power plant. Now this complex houses many institutions: a science and technology center, a planetarium, a cinema, a cinematography center, a comic book and interactive narrative center, a science education center for children, and many museum-like sections and conference and exhibition halls :) And yea, song might feel cinematic - Dawid Podsiadło even created main themes for Cyberpunk: Edrunners and Cyberpunk Phantom Liberty and few other songs for anime and game. His model also appeared in one mission in game :D AND ONE MORE FUN FACT - you already reacted to OTHER song with music video also recorded in heat&power plant in the same city - "Tamagotchi" by Taconafide :D We have few more power plants in Lodz still not used in music videos, so wait for more :D

Hey, love your video! I especially like, how you focus on stuff sort of 'in the background', that normally one doesn't hear if he don't focus on it, but would notice if they disappeared. This whole music video was made without CGI. That includes lights on that tower/chimney/whatever at 2:39. That scenes in tunnel around 1:12, while I'm not 100% certain, look like video projected on a wall of fog or small droplets of water (a bit like cinema, but silver screen is fog). I genuinely have no idea how they did that huge orb at 3:31, but I found 'making of' of this music video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/mGq3ZoVso7eHl6c At 2:48 of this video, on the left side you can see this sphere, so I assume it's just a practical model, built and properly lit from the inside. I also have song, that you may find interesting. The title is "Czerwone korale" (="Red beads" as in "red bead necklace") by Brathanki. The song is relatively old (I think year 2000), but it's interesting: this band combines pop music with a tiny bit of rock and with folk from Polish mountains - you can hear electric guitars and drums next to flute (I think that's what it's called), accordeon and violins (sometimes you can actually see violinist holding their fiddlesticks almost vertically - characteristic detail for highlanders violinists).

"Męskie Granie" translated to English as "Masculine Playing", from the beginning it was a festival that was mainly rock-based, showing raw power and good sounds of the Polish music scene. Each year they released a song with that year's participating artists as a hymn for that year's edition. With time the festival incorporated more genres, so it became more diverse. Still, some people say that the "Masculine Playing" they knew is getting less masculine with every passing year and leans increasingly into the pop side of the music spectrum, thus getting farther away from its roots in rock music.
