Real folk music in Poland is what the highlanders play in places like Zakopane in the past it was similar in every village, but the partitions and wars destroyed this tradition and disco polo became popular in post-communist villages. Sławoimi is an actor who make parodies on youtube but he did it so well that he became popular :))) and now he earns big money from it :))

You should really check the movie "Skazany na bluesa" It is about the singer (Rysiek Riedl) of the famous polish band DŻEM. He died in 1994 but now his son joined the band Dżem. The movie is full of Dżem music. It's a good piece of polish blues.
