I am pr and white. When I was younger I went to day care on the les on east broadway. If u know it’s prominently Chinese. So a majority of the kids were Chinese. So I grew up eating white rabbit candy which till this day is my fav. Char sue boa we used to have to order ourselves when we went on walking trips to Chinatown. Chinese New Years the parents brought in all types of Chinese food. Times I loved and will always cherish. We used to mage shrimp chips, do you remember heating up the oil and dropping the hard chip in it and it would blow up. I hated eating them but I loved making them.

Hatai Baked Potato Slims and Korean crispy grain rolls (seaweed flavor) are my recent faves! The Yuzu Black Pepper shrimp chips taste good cold too...not as weird as sounds haha.

I had honey butter chips in Korea, thanks to my Airbnb host leaving us snacks and I haven't been the same since. I cannot be trusted around them. And they got honey butter almonds too!!!! my favorite is Ppushu Ppushu which is a korean brand snack which is literally the same instant ramen noodle before boiled that gets crushed up into crums and you pour a flavoring powder over it. I want more flavor options for them as they only got like 3 or 4

I’m sensitive to msg. It’s in prepared foods like salad dressings, soups, gravy, sauces, and flavored chips. All of it sends me down a really horrible gastrointestinal path. Cramps, the runs, and hours of headache. I’ve got about 20 minutes after I finish a meal that has a lot of msg. I’m personally grateful when food is msg free.
