John Bagyan actually there's nothing written in our Quran that forbids women from singing. What is forbidden is if a woman sings sexily that it brings out unnecessary lustful and sexual thoughts than that's haram. A talent is a gift from God. If a woman has it and not use it she's not appreciating it then. If it's haram per se, why than did God give her the talent for a woman as the means to earn a living? 😀 Hope this explanation helps

As soon as I was going to watch this video, I checked few comments sayin that 'what is it on her head? ' , 'Shila don't deserve to be a singer. Muslim girl singing a song infront of others is shay'and etc. 1. Shila Amzah is a Muslim. Yup. No wonder she is wearing hijab on her head and jubah (long dress that covering all part of her body) well..
