@@Veroveren uh... they don't technically, but we usually name certain combos after creators if they're a significant part of the meta. rom infinite is a perfect example from mvc2. rom is a player that invented magnetos infinite, and the infinite was used in the games meta for 20 years before the game died. it's more of a respect thing of giving to the player who paved the way. even if marlin pie didn't make it, we have to respect him for making it mainstream in tournaments, because the combo would be a doom bread and butter after he set the stage.

She's a solid anchor, I used to use her frequently. The thing about the metagame is that it is catered to what works best given these characters are played to the best of their ability. Of course, factors such as mind games and one player not really playing their best game possible can come into play, but you should only use tier lists as a reference guide.

Because those are the most damaging combos, and they want to achieve maximum damage with their combos to kill characters fast and win. The longer your games go on, the better chance you have at getting randomly crossed up with a hi/lo attack and getting the same type of combo achieved on you. By the way, every character can achieve an infinite combo with either the right combo or the right lead/assist.
