The many comebacks of Combofiend

I uploaded this video earlier today but for some reason, their were some crazy flaws within the video. Combofiend is my favorite player in the fighting game community along with Mike Ross. We all know why he is great...Spencer, Comebacks and he is the king of trash talking. Watch these comebacks and great matches by Combofiend against some elite opponents. Thank you!!

True. Combofiend himself even said before on a stream that he doesn't like being the "comeback" fiend. Because that isn't his intention. He really is trying to win straight up and he gets blown up. Although his spencer is undeniable godly. He did say he wishes he could be that good with all his characters and not be put in those situations at all... either way comebacks are always fun to watch than straight beatdowns/perfects.

Spencer is a comeback char. No matter how u look at it. Extremely hard to push block, very ambiguous crossups, full combo off any hit, overhead & command grab and of course bionic arm. Not saying combofiend isnt good (i think he's the best in mvc3). But spencer is especially good at creating "JUSTIN WONG OMG " moments. On a side note i miss the old HUD

What he means is it's a move that cause the opponent to get knocked off the ground. When you do an OTG you can continue the combo because they get knocked slightly in the air. An OTG is what Spencer did at 1:45, he picked up Mag off the ground, so it's an OTG.

Lame Razberry There's only a few characters that are forbidden in Fighting games, because they are extremely op without effort. Like Boss characters, and maybe a few others

There are bans, but only for characters that are extremely overpowered. Examples include Meta Knight and Akuma

That's just due to lack of practice, especially if you're talking about motion registering properties. The control pad does just as well against the fight stick, the only reason so many players use the fight stick is, because it gives the player a more arcade-ish feel while playing.

It's marvel vs capcom 3 or what we refer to as vanilla. You are probably use to the hud in Ultimate marvel vs capcom 3 the game that we play now. We don't play vanilla marvel vs capcom 3 anymore.

OTG stands for Off The Ground. It is a move that picks the opponent up off of the ground whether it is off of a soft or hard knockdown. Hope this helps

@Kamurotetsu 90% of the people on PSN using spencer have no idea how to use Spencer. All the spencrs i play online just random bionic arm, forgetting its majorly unsafe on block. I have been using spencer since i saw combofiend destroy marn at final round. My favourite character in the whole game.

Yeah, you're right, you do not need a stick to do the longest combos. I do just fine with my 360 controller. There isn't really a better option, it's all about what suits you the best and what's more comfortable for you.

If Combofiend was really as good as his comeback Spencer, no one would ever touch him in the first place. He wouldn't be making comebacks, but rather extremely frequent perfects. But seriously, before someone calls me out for ripping on Combo- I'm not. I'm just trying to point out what I feel is an undeniably essential detail to understand about competition.

depends on what stuff are you talking about. Sticks are used in many games because there are somethings that are just very hard to do on a normal controller. For marvel for example, it's much easier to do plink wavedash with a stick. In vanilla marvel 3 it was almost impossible to pull off dante's flashiest combos since they required double inputs. Characters like zero, you need to be holding an attack button and it's not that easy with a controller.OS are very hard to do unless you have a stick

I do mad combos for jill. I start one using X Y B Froward-B QCF-X CrX CrY CrB A. I'm like the only Jill who uses this opening as it usually pierces someones guard... :o.
