Thank you again. Love listening to you. I am working on my 78th birthday and have continued to grow by trying new things. When I look back at pictures as you mentioned, I realize how much I have accomplished. These 7 guys have inspired me to continue to experience new things. I may not be able to have a new career or travel as I would like but I still love learning and experiencing new things within my limits. BTS will be changed by this military experience. But I think they will be together even better. But together or individually they will be with us forever. I hope the guys will be happy whatever they do in the future.🇺🇸💜

They will be all totally grown into more mature men. Up to them but I think playing with dolls is so 10 years ago for them. Plus let's not have them wearing girly headbands and the like. Give 'em some dignity. They are MEN after all. Nothing wrong with animal ears though. 🤭✌️

Yesterday I was watching "Behind the scene" from the album BE, an album made entirely by BTS. I was moved to see the joy and passion of V and Jimin, the humility and dedication of Jin and Jungkook, the confidence and appreciation of the rap line. The vocal line made it clear that with this experience they really understood the importance, commitment and hard work of the rap line over the years. Then stated that they have learned a lot and will strive to learn more to support the rap line and not leave all the work on them alone. I believe that the "solo project" experience was very important and the great results of the vocal line do not decrease the skill and importance of the rap line at all. The vocal line with the solo project has understood its value, learned new things about the album process, gained more "confidence" and experience. Not only that, they all understood the importance of each of them in the group and that they are not just "members" of BTS but a true "family". They don't see each other as "competitors" they love each other and see each other as brothers. "Haters gona hate" We as Army must pray that they finish their military service well and that they return to us safe. We must always remember what they told us "wait for us and trust us".

I think the fact that they don't need each other to succeed will be very beneficial when they come back together. They used to have to rely on the Rapline so much for their music that it put a constant strain on them to produce content. Now all of them are learning what their own flavor and color is. They are learning how to make their own music. When they come back together their color palette will be so much more vibrant and the kind of music they can make together will be so much richer and more varied. It's like a painter being given a whole new palette of paints instead of the same basic 3 primary colors. Think of all art they can create together. Most bands are just a collection of people working together for a common goal. Goals can change over time and band members go their seperate ways. Bands break up. With BTS they became an inseparable family and the family comes first. They may and probably will still do individual projects but the family will always come first.

I have no doubts at all about BTS concerning 2025! I can't wait till July or August. Jin will be here before you know it. Love to have a guy in my life that can cook. From scratch even. And brews liquor! F-yeah! Then it'll be 'my hope' jhope. Love his smile and his laugh is contagious. I respect them all so much. They are all role models. Their music speaks to a lot of people. They all have grown so much since the beginning. Totally different style each of them. They bring it all together and it works. Because they respect each other. I love myself. Had to relearn, but I did it thanks to thought provoking lyrics by RM!😊 This is just the intermission. 2025 it will start again on a different, higher level. Just wish some people wasn't so shady and greedy. Taking advantage while they can't defend themselves. Ought to be ashamed! Low class for real! Just saying.🍓👹👨‍🚀7️⃣🕺🔏🎧 Match the emoji to the members. Easy peasy!✌️

Talented people and artists often cannot even see themselves as doing anything that is any more special than anyone else. It is simply what they do. Their perspective comes from within. It is the world around them that actually understands their contribution. And humble celebrities like BTS are often dumbfounded by the impact that they are having on the music industry, let alone every product they touch, and the spread of Korean culture through the world. By now they certainly understand it’s happening, but I wonder if they grasp the depth of their talents.

Jin the wise! 🥹💜🥰 BTS seems to enjoy their journey, trips, spills, falls, and all, rather than just focusing on a destination The maknae line's success is the hyung line's success. The younger ones have expressed their admiration and appreciation for their older members' talent and work ethic, especially in how it influenced their (younger members) growth and development). I agree, the success of the maknae line's solo albums will help to strengthen Bangtan, the team. It's a beautiful thing to be a part of an effective team, where members can rely on and support each other. Success at the expense of each other is often lonely and sad.

I believe that BTS will come together and renew themselves. The concerts will not be the same, maybe even better, with solo and joint performances. The reason I think they will do world tours again is because of us ARMYs. Many of us new fans have never seen them and the fandom is growing daily. I also think more of their concerts will be streamed online for all fans who can't travel, and those tickets will be a big part of their income, allowing them to also make more intimate concerts into global events.

This was lovely! A lot people don't like the way 'Beyond The Star' was put together, but I really enjoyed the journey it took us through their hopes and dreams. There's a vulnerability and an ambiguity to it that is somehow precious. It's not dramatic or hammering on an idea and I actually like that. This really took me back to everything I was feeling as I was watching it and as always also gave me things to think about. Thank you. 💜

I agree they are all growing as individual artists and will have a lot to contribute once all together again. If it's only one more song or one more album they do together in 2025, that will have to be good enough for me. I say, "have to" because, much like a lot of people, probably but really speaking for myself, would love to see MORE of them. I am one that got into BTS a bit late, but have been enjoying ALL their content, music, just incredible. It's so amazing to me, how young they are, how hard they worked....for ARMY. They are just an incredible group of young men and I am excited to see what they decide to do and will support their decision. Thanks so much for sharing, as always, a great video.

While individual success with solo songs and albums may be limited due to the constant emergence of new artists and the ever-changing tastes of music listeners, the true potential for extending their fame lies in their reunion after completing their military service. The anticipation and excitement surrounding their reunion will undoubtedly amplify their already established fame. The combination of their individual talents, the power of their collective presence, and the steadfast support of their dedicated fans will create a truly unforgettable comeback that will solidify their place in the music industry for years to come. 💜✖ 7.

They'll pull everything they're learnt from their solo work be it things about themselves, or things about the business as a whole and it'll all go into the melting pot. And boy that melting pot is sure to bring up some amazing results. Being together is far better than fighting alone they know each other and they've learnt new things, new experience's they can now share and use to their advantage. The old addage of Safety in Numbers come's to mind. When you have like minded people supporting you and people who only want to see you shine then you have that buffer to protect you. On your own you don't have that and can so easily lose your footing and slip as there's not people there who truely know and care for you who are looking out for you and give you that word of encouragement, to hold out that hand to help you up. Oh yes and tell you when you are being an idoit only friends and family you trust can really do that.

And I think that the writing, producing, stages and EVERYTHING will benefit from these experiences.

I always enjoy your insight and thoughts. My best guess is the boys will have a much different pace than the frantic push, push, push of the past. I think they will find ways to be both a group and so solo works. This is the time of their lives that some may want to find partners, settle down and start families, so that will affect things. I just hope their fame and the treatment by “fans” allows them to do that. it might take a strong person to care enough to go through what their future spouses may go through in the beginning. I think KPop’s “no dating” posture has fostered something really negative in some fans and I think that should change. (Not sure why I went on an unrelated rant here 😊) I have no doubt that these seven young men will find the right balance for them and I hope I am around to watch it for as long as the Good Lord allows.

There was so much I agreed with in this episode of your analysis of Beyond The Star. What particularly resonated was the desire to be twenty again, to have had the chance to grow along with BTS. I think I would have benefitted so much from them…. But yes, it’s never too late to live as spectacularly as possible from now on. I also agree that the dynamics within BTS will change somewhat, but perhaps not by much, because while the rap line was the primary source of songs for the group, the vocal line had contributed significantly musically by the time of their hiatus. Also, the rap line was always appreciative and supportive of the endeavours of the other members. That is one of the most endearing features of BTS, of how much they love and support each other. As much as their music, their message and their individual personalities, it is their group dynamic that is food and drink for my soul. I was very proud and happy for each member’s solo success, but in the end, the whole is greater than its parts…. Can’t wait to see them all together again!

Another awesome thoughtful video. Of course they will be different than before. They've come to learn more about themselves as individuals, and also the military has a way of changing people. It's actually somewhat amazing that after all the solo successes (and not just for the vocal line), they still had the desire to continue as a group and re-signed their contracts with the same company. Of course, we don't really know what those contracts say. I assume they will have solo opportunities as well as group activities, and not all doing music (e.g. acting, variety shows, etc.). I do think though that they will try to come back first as a group.

It's good that their chapter 2 is also a success, as solo artists they have more control on what they want to accomplish in terms of their music. As an army I'm glad that all of them still wanted to stay as BTS and regroup once they are all done with their military duties, that's a relief for me coz I love watching their dynamics and see their love of being together most of the time. Tho there maybe changes on their comeback starting 2025, I guess it will be for the better coz even before they always know what kind of music they want to do, let's just expect that their maturity will also be seen and reflected on the next chapter. #I❤BTS-my- inspirational-men

i keep hearing that since Golden did so well and the VL as a whole, numbers wise have done better than rap line that BTS is successful due to VL. and it hurts to hear that because yes numbers wise VL did better with their solo albums. but the type of music they did is more appealing to others in the GP or causal listeners than the rap line. its disappointing to hear this because many solo's and anti's are taking this to heart and bashing the rap line especially suga and RM. i hope this changes. because Rap line was BTS's back bone and they shouldn't be mistreated by supposed fans of specific members i mean ive seen people say that JK is the best and most talented member. and just today i saw people saying Suga stole His that that song he did for Psy from Jin. and that started trending. its just crazy. i cant imagine what the future will bring. as long as the members remember that BTS is first even if doing solo work things will go well. but if anyone gets too big of a head then who knows

I think the fact that the vocal line has been so successful (in numbers) doesn't overshadow the work of the rap line at all. The guys in the rap line have always been the foundation of the group and in all these years they have had the greatest weight and the greatest stress in everything that was done. Seeing the results of the vocal line makes me happy because they have understood how much they are worth, they have had new experiences and gained "confidence" and they will make all these treasures available to the group. The important thing that they all learned and experienced in these "solo projects" was the importance of each of them in the group, the importance of being and supporting each other, they confirmed that they are truly "a family". We as an army just have to pray that they finish their military service healthy and come back to us. For the rest we must remember their request "trust us".

Haters gonna hate. But that is why we are here. Army can have their backs while they are in the military and stand strong that BTS is 7 always. The rap line is the backbone that allowed the vocal line to fly. Can each fly solo- sure, but they prefer to fly together. And anyone dissin' Suga better check it at the door. Jin will be the first to come to his defense and as AugustD his tour was sold out and they had to add dates-he was on fire in concert. RM is setting up to put a whole new genre of music on the market- have you been listening to his new singles? You want to go on to J-Hope and his new releases??? How many tiems have you watched his dance documentaries? I have "I Wonder" on LOOP! These haters are jealous and the lowest form of life to go after BTS when they are in the military. Just tell them to shove it where the sun don't shine and leave them in the ditch they live in. Sigh, maybe not, our boys would have us take the high road so I guess we should just give love, credit and praise to BTS and not feed the trolls. BTS as people really are the best of us.

With Jimin and Jungkook numbers I think it's because of the way they approached their releases. They were going for the chart success with multiple versions of the singles and so many remixes within the first week and not to mention Jungkook worked with scooter Braun and his rollout was for the western chart success. Layover was just something Tae loved, the remixes dropped but later. With rapline they didn't really go for that multiple versions and remixes, they did what they always do. Sure VL members are popular but you can't deny that a lot of those big numbers were the result of the way they handled their releases. Nothing wrong with that of course but I don't really think too deep about the numbers. Not to mention rapline's solo releases had amazing reviews by critics. Jitb, indigo and D-Day all three had a 5/5 ratings and I'm glad because they've worked really hard and deserve that praise

yeah i got it. i learned. i came to love them, without condition. i won't expect them to know me personally, but their music, their creativity, their chaotic interactions tell me they love me too. and that is enough for me. ive loved and lost, i suffered and came out victorious, whatever i went through in life, they've sung about it, and the fears they sing about, i want to say that i've been there and done that, and i know that loving yourself, believing in yourself, doing the work and being respectful and kind to people from all walks of life, will bring them through the pain, trials, hurt, and help them weed out in their success the fake loves, the micdrop moments, the not today determination and the ugh. i feel like their mom, sister, girlfriend, best friend. and i will always be grateful to them.

It is always a pleasure to hear from you! You are an artist yourself with your chosen words and the play of imagination you create. The exact words tell us a story about your subject and how the world see them . Thank you once more for your insights. Btw, you can write a book about how Armys feel and think about BTS . I'm sure Armys would love that. And BTS would be delighted.

Such an interesting question. When I first read your question, I thought you were talking about all of them having solo success. And I guess my answer is probably still the same with all seven. We only have Hobi to go on. I saw him @Lollapalooza on Hulu and I don't have enough words to describe how confident and well performed and produced it was. That was the end of July and I next saw him performing in October in Busan with the other six. From the opening song of Mic Drop to him pounding up the steps and onto the stage during Ugh, I could see a huge increase in confidence, swagger and even his singing/rapping. He's always portrayed strong abilities in all of these areas, but I swear the difference in the increase was almost like night and day! Doing that solo performance and all of the promotions involved with his solo album sure made a difference. After that, everyone has done solos & solo promotions, but not gotten back together with the whole group. I feel everyone will be contributing at a higher level, with types of music only talked about before this. It may be true what you said about each one doesn't need the group to be successful on their own. The thing is, I don't think they want to leave the group. The magic happens when the seven are together. I can only imagine what it will be like when they will be seven again. I believe each one's contribution will be increased and their sound will be at a whole other level. I can't wait.

This was a great video I've only recently started following them(I'm 62) I knew of them but been learning about their triumphs and their hard times. They have gone through so much pain and hardship, this made me cry a lot. But the way they care about each other and help each other makes my heart feel good. They are so funny so they make me laugh a lot as well. I do love their music. I used to listen to music (all kinds) when I was young. Listening to their music has got me going back to the music I grew up with. This remarkable group of young men are truly talented driven and versatile. If someone had told me I'd be listening to rap music and K-pop at this age I would have laughed in their face, but here I am truly enjoying and learning something new. I wish nothing but the best for them they truly deserve it. I admire their positivity as well and it has rubbed off on me. I actually am trying to better myself to eat better and try not to always second guess myself, or worry about tomorrow. Never to late to start.

Like Jimin said in this episode "Lets go for it". I think BTS are very excited and pumped for 2025 comeback. Especially RM and Jimin. They want to be rookies again and likes the challenge. I am ready for their comeback. Its going to be better and greater. It's my analysis that 2025 was nearly not happening because of Jungkook project. But glad BTS overruled that.

Thank you for another marvelous analysis of the only band I can support. They are all golden as individuals and proved their own talents as solo performers. But BTS is BTS. Coming together after their solo would be another chapter . And as a live narrative of seven brothers in journey, it would be breathtaking. As a an Army I wait with baited breathe. 2025 is a global upheaval in the music world. And it will be spearheaded by BTS with Armys beside them. Let's watch hiw it goes!

It just does not seem in their nature, to compete with one another on the global stage. I’m from a large family, and though each of us are fiercely individual, and may have competed amongst ourselves within the family, we still always maintain a united front to the world outside our family. This is how I understand BTS to be. There is an unspoken pact that develops over time, and it’s just plain respected, hands down. It’s just how it is. So, because of their mutual respect for one another’s’ talents, and their recognition that their strength lies in their unity, I imagine their content will continue to be fresh and innovative. They have to live their lives. How marrying and having children alters one’s existence is no joke. Priorities do change. However, the bond these men have established, in my view, will serve them well, going forward, in how they rely upon one another to help them navigate the twists and turns of their lives. They know how to support each other. It has been obvious for a long time now. To me, they are unbeatable, no matter what they choose to do. Even as individuals, they are outstanding human beings. To have that much honor, intelligence, creativity, resourcefulness, mutual respect, all present in one group of seven men, practically speaking, is a miracle in itself. To me, the sky is the limit for them, and I’m here for it!!

so true and i agree with you. it will be diffrent i am thinking. maybe 1 album a year from BTS and a tour and then in between they will do solo work and when a member has done an album they go on tour and the others rest. that way it will be more relaxed and they can have a family if they want. i think they will focus more on the music and vocals in the new chaptor. take longer to make music and also develop their skills even more. all the work j-hope has done to prepare his return to the stage is amazing. he has planned a new album now so that when he returns in oct he can go on tour right away basically. because yoongi and Rm talked about how Suga was brave to take one for the team and do a solo tour. he said if he didn´t there would be to long in between concerts. and he was right. J-hope is soon ready to do his thing too so when BTS return it won't seem so long. remember how long the hybe around Sugas tour lasted? that is what we are going to get with j-hope too. time will stand still for army who is busy. it won't seem like they even went away. but i think that the youngest and most popular members missing will have some effect. mainly the toxic solo stans who might lose interest i hope at least so it´s only ot7 when they return. and you are right this is BTS way of toning down their image and become more serious. not an idol group with coloured hair but korean men in their twenties making music. that is what they are known for. and they can still have amazing stages without much dancing just look at black swan in ptd the first part was only the backup dancers and it was so pretty. they could do more like that.

I think they cracked the door, but it's up to the others groups to open it wider, and walk through themselves. That will take talent, and message. BTS is so much more talented and thoughtful than any other artists today, Asian or otherwise. I think caring and good people have been waiting for a sign that it was ok to actually love our neighbors, embrace the differences and enjoy each other's culture. WE needed a way to find each other and BTS was the light on that path. Their music, while being exceptional , also is really music for healing. They healed my broken heart, and let me dream again of a earth we all find a way to live in together. I think they really don't care about awards, more money, numbers on the charts. I think chapter 2 will be about ARMY and sending their positivity, and making people happy. Haters, I laugh. Their solos has been so good and very successful and ARMY is right behind them when they say so, or if they don't.

I enjoy your videos and analyses. BTS is exploring, and will continue to explore, their solo talents, gaining individual confidence and success as they move forward. I do think, however, that they need each other. They are a band of brothers who gain strength from their "familial" ties, collaborations, honesty, and differences. Can't wait for 2025!

As much as the members care about each other and are family, I think ARMYs should be prepared for the possibility that, after getting a taste of doing the music each of them loves and doing it their own way, they may not all end up wanting to be a group again like they thought they would. I would be disappointed too if that happens, but would support and love each of them as true soloists as well. I'm just being realistic about the fact that they're changing as humans while being apart and in the military, so although they and ARMY want to believe they'll be a group again, this time may change them enough that it doesn't happen. 🥺🤷‍♀️💜🫶

BTS = 7 + ARMY, and it is a mutualistic symbiotic relationship. Each is separate, but when together is greater than the sum of its parts. There's no reason the 7 can't grow individually as well as together. Even if they decided to primarily pursue individual projects, they would always influence and support each other. Change is inevitable, or homeostasis is lost. The loss of homeostasis in any living organism = illness and eventually death. Even if a member were unable or unwilling to continue as part of BTS (highly unlikely)... BTS could still adapt and find balance... if they want to do so. I don’t think any of that is likely, though. The 7 enjoy working together. I think they are excited at the prospect of coming back together and discovering the changes in each other and what those new elements can create. ARMY is part of that change. ARMY has grown, changed, and matured already. They are primed and ready for something new. KPop needs to grow beyond just teen fandom as well... and some other artists like Taeyang are already exploring that. In America I was present for the birth of Hip Hop & Rap... It, just like rock... began as a youth movement... but it has grown too. People that love kpop will still love it and want it as they age.

I see a lot of people being sad about the difference in numbers between rapline and vocal line's releases and honestly it's not that big of a deal. Jimin's highlight from face is like crazy, the song had multiple versions the day it dropped, had multiple remixes within the first week of the release amd ultimately reached #1 on hot100. Jungkook worked with scooter Braun for golden, the entire album was in english with American producers, scooter had his back and planned out the rollout of the the album, all singles had multiple remixes dropped within the first week and the songs did well on hot100. Now there's nothing wrong with remixes, billboard allows it. Layover did well in long-term success, his singles didn't do as well as Jimin's or jk's because he didn't go with the remixes and his album was something he wanted to do. Same with rapline, they made hip-hop albums, chose the way they wanted to release and promote their works and had amazing reviews from critics, like NME gave 5/5 stars to their albums. Yoongi went on a world tour, Joon promoted the way he wanted, Hobi attended lolla and made history. Every member of BTS has been nothing but successful in this chapter 2, most importantly they all did things the way they wanted to and were all successful while doing that. Numbers are not a problem, this is not a competition, nobody would be happier for members getting a #1 than BTS members themselves. If anything this should be exciting because now when they comeback we will see a whole new side of bts where everyone is contributing their experiences from their solos. I cannot wait for them to return and continue their group and solo activities, more good music for us

Only a few groups stay together beyond 10 years and everyone needs to remember that will all practically be in their 30s really soon. They have done what they need to do. Is Namjoon really going to rap at 35? No, he will be a business mogul. Honestly, he should be working to be Bang PD. Out of all of them, being a performer for a bunch of teenagers should be in his rear view. Sorry
