Asianet should consider talking to those who were expelled from their Knanaya Catholic’s church also. Denying holy sacraments from a Catholic Church, based on endogamy practice is simply wrong. Those who wish to follow endogamy is their choice and is perfectly fine but when a Catholic priest denying a holy sacraments (Marriage, Baptism etc) based on endogamy practice shows that they don’t represent Christ at the centre of their church! As long as they are part of a Universal Catholic Church they shouldn’t be expelling their members from their church purely based on them not marrying from the same community!! Such short films will expose their ignorance and hopefully will highlight that such systems are not relevant in this day and age!! Good job highlighting this issue to the wider public, many are suffering due to the injustice of knanaya Catholic Church!! They say they don’t expel people from their church but they do constructively expel people by denying marriages at their churches just because the spouse is from a different Christian community. It’s unchristian, uncivil and evil.

I'm a Knanayite and I do not advocate for the racial purity mentioned in the short film. It's a misinterpretation. In fact, most of the educated Knanayites didn't like how things were portrayed in the video.
