This is the second part of the video I shared a few weeks back, more focused on the market itself. If you want to check how I prep for the art market video here is it kzbin.info/www/bejne/nWWvqHlsbq6mprM - Enjoy and let me know your experiences below

I grew up in art markets, as my parents were artists. They made part of their living from it. We traveled all over the United States and had friends all over. I’m an artist too, but haven’t done it much myself. I think I got the experience when I was young! 😊

That’s so amazing. I can totally see that working and also such wonderful experiences. I really enjoyed everything about it.

Not only do I illustrate at an art market but we also organize one in Miri. Called the Miri Artisan Market.

It can be very exhausting to do this, especially if you do outdoor markets. I made a decision a few years ago to do indoor only and it's limited my opportunities but also those are more likely to be closer to holidays which works out

Lovely video as always! To be honest, I didn't think your price tags were awful at all! I think it was very smart, I got the question how much something was réally often. So i actually thought that if Id do an art market again, I should make my price tags much bigger 🤭.

I agree about the price tags. As a customer at art markets I always appreciate being able to clearly see the price of everything rather than awkwardly stare trying to read a tag that's too small or hidden.

Thank you for this video! I actually am looking which art markets to try out (maybe visit a few first) but I'm at a loss where to search for which art markets are being held. I tried to search online for a bit but didn't find the types of markets that I thought would be suitable, I mostly found antique markets. So imagine my surprise when I heard that you went to one not only in my country, but in the city I am living in! And I didn't know about it 😱. Can I ask to which one you went so I can look it up? 😅 I am looking forward to visit art markets in the netherlands in the future! Maybe I'll even see you on one!

Hi Caitlin, I get your struggle as I also noticed there aren’t really any art markets (focused on craftsmanship, illustration or fine art) in the Netherlands, that’s why I really loved the Illustrada initiative. It’s the first time they held the art market but I for sure hope the art market will become a regular annual thing:)

@@AsiaOrlando oooh! I've seen the walking routes with the big illustrations but I didn't know they had a market this year! Thank you, I'll keep an eye open for the next time :) And yes I hope there will be some more illustration focused markets soon :(. I feel like the Playgrounds festival in Eindhoven has some room to grow on their art market, although that one is more focused on game design and animation (the entertainment industry). Maybe in the future there will be more

Totally unrelated, but has anyone ever told you that you look like Alexandra Daddario?
