Just want to say these boots are amazing. My last pair lasted 2 seasons, I could not be happier with them. I just purchased a new pair for this season, personally I change the insole to an orthotic insole as I need arch support in all my shoes. The high spike length took a couple trainings to get used to as I had very low ones previously but it is perfect for all ground types especially great in slightly muddier pitches. They are very comfortable shoes too, some boots feel really tight or too thin but these feel like running shoes to me. I would never buy any other boot or brand over these because I know it's quality. Could not regard these boots higher!!!

Hi Em, Thank you for the insight into your experience with this boot. The Testimonial IT 4 is a great boot and works well with orthotics, so you have struck gold with this boot. 2018 see's the boot continue its legacy, Asics have only adjusted the colours which means you will get the same fit and feel this season as the last. However we are not completely sure of what 2019 has in store for the Tesimonial. Asics being an incredibly consistent brand would suggest there would be minimal change. Just have to watch this space. I have asics lethal tigreor 6 since 2013, but these boots now there aren't in the shops. My question is asics lethal testimonial 4 are similar to asics tigreor 6 ?

Hey Filippo, Thanks for watching and sending through your comment and apologies for the delay in responding. The two boots in questions have a few key differences. The Tigreor 6 had a lot more sprigs on the outsole to alleviate more pressure off the sole of your foot. The Testimonial IT 4 has less sprigs, however they have a PU resin through the tip of the sprigs which increases comfort. The Testimonial features kangaroo leather in the toe, while it is only in the vamp in the tigreor. The Tigreor is more about speed with a one density sole plate, while the Testimonial is more about comfort with a dual density sole plate that is more flexible in the forefoot. I would also not rule out the Lethal Legacy either. A boot that is extremely under rated. Similar sole plate system to the Tigreor with a little more volume and width around the forefoot. Hi, I'm looking for an asics leather boots with a 10mm heel gradient. But I notice most of the boot studs are much longer than usual. I'm looking for a model which has the 10mm heel gradient but with shorter studs. Thanks in advance!

Hi S S, Thanks for watching this review and for posting your question. 10mm HG comes in the majority of Asics boots: - Lethal Ultimate IGS 12 - Lethal 18 - Lethal Testimonial - Menace - Tigreor IT FF - Lethal Legacy IT - Lethal Flash IT - Lethal Speed RS The two I would suggest are the Ultimate and Lethal 18. Both of the boots are the closest to a running shoe design. Smaller studs to disperse the impact under foot, with a protective layer of EVA between the studs and your foot. If you are looking for more of a classic football boot then the Asics Lethal Tigreor FF is a great option. Shorter studs through the forefoot than Testimonial IT 4, and with more studs in the forefoot assisting the load while playing and training. So I can better assist you, what code of football are you using the boots for? AFL, Rugby, Soccer? Josh.

These boots are small fitting. My son went from ultimate 17's to testimonial 4's. The ultimate size 9 is bigger all around than the testimonial size 10.

Hi Jim, Thanks for your comment. Although they are from the same brand we also have found the fit to be slightly different. Evidently the Ultimate series are a wider boot, not only on the base construction but also the upper has a deeper feel. So a US9 Ultimate will fit like a 9.5 to 10 Testimonial pending a few variables around width and depth of arch. Thanks again. I hope your son has a successful season in his Asics football boots. Santiago Cervera compared to Nike Tiempo series. Size to size is the same. But the 10mm HG does push the toe forward slightly in Testimonials. They do account for this in sizing profile. Good luck this year. Josh
