ASICS WINDERMERE MARATHON 2021 - THE FRIENDLIEST AND MOST SCENIC UK MARATHON I ASH & RUTH

Ash's experience as he took part in the Asics Windermere Marathon 2021 held last 23 May 2021.
One of a handful of marathons run entirely within a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Often described as the friendliest and most beautiful UK marathon, finish this breath-taking course, amidst a carnival atmosphere, in the grounds of Brathay Hall with stunning views over England's largest lake.
A 26.2 mile anti-clockwise circuit of Windermere, taking in Hawkshead, Newby Bridge, Bowness-on-Windermere and Ambleside along the way. Over half the course is run on partially traffic-free roads or roads with a dedicated running lane. .
It has outstanding local support and, to top it all, you get to see the inspirational men and women who will be completing the final marathon of their Brathay 10 in10 (10 marathons in 10 consecutive days).

Awesome job my mate. Well done. Can I ask if there is a cut off time?? Im wanting to take part in some ultras but I need to have a few marathons completed under the cut off time first. Thank you 😊

Thanks mate. I think the cut off time is 6h 30m but many runners finished more than that, the organisers are not strict. All the best in your future marathons and ultras.
