I used to work at a lounge in Delaware owned by a few guys from Kenya and Uganda. Great people by the way! But I got to not only eat but learn how to cook nyama choma(roast goat) kachumbari and ugali! I absolutely fell in love with east African cuisine! God I wish I could remember which spices we used in the mbuzi fry! Mbuzi fry with ugali🤤🤤🤤

ghanaians call it Akple, tip: its a lot easier to mix the corn flour or meal with room temp water and add to the boiling water while stirring untill it set to prevent the lumps and makes stirring easier and can still add extra flour if needed.

Thank you so very much. I didn't eat Assida for 25 years now. I have been craving for it and couldn't find a video to tell me what kind of flour I need because in Sudan we used to use the Dukun flour (that small grinded grains). Thanks again and again

Does someone have a tip for cleaning the crust off the pot afterwards? 😅
@joskaodong39355 жыл бұрын
Let it sit overnight in hot water inside or clean it right after with a scrub to prevent from drying
@user-ib9hg6ch3d5 жыл бұрын
@@joskaodong3935 thank you! It really is so much easier if I clean it right away, or soak it immediately.

I’m having trouble finding “maize flour” especially with the virus. Is Maseca “instant corn masa flour” the same thing?
