The commentator asked "Why does Terry get Supers but Asimo doesnt?" I think MAYBE one reason is because SNK was the first company to introduce "supers" or what they were called before "desperation moves" in Art of Fighting and Fatal Fury 2. Since then "supers" are now a stable of most fighting games.

i don't think you would see asimo get the results he does in japan with terry to be honest. terry has more matchup counterplay imo whereas ryu has a more reliable gameplan. not to say terry doesn't outperform him in some matchups.

@@richardpeterjohnson5372 I see your point but that’s more of the “what if” scenario. Asimo is an excellent player all credit due. I think the reason Asimo solo’s Ryu is simply out of love for the character. Riddles use to main Ken and the Belmonts before Terry. I guess my point here is I’m not saying Ryu and Ken are not effective. Rather when it comes to them vs the other Shotos it’s like fighting with 1 arm tied behind your back. The playing field is by no means level. I like Kaz and Terry, no hate on them whatsoever. I just feel like they are both outclassing Ken and Ryu in smash bros.
