@@AddieWagenknecht well not sure one good and one bad experience actually makes for much of a research paper. But I have had way to many cheap h&m or only trousers that barely lasted me a year, so last time I bought jeans I went to levi's. But I do have a tricky size so I do struggle a bit finding some that fit as I am shorter and smaller than average in Scandinavia, so I probably would have had more to chose from if I were average size. Anyway we will see how long the levi's lasts so far so good and due to them being 90 and 30 % off they ended up being cheaper than my normally crappy ones anyway. and amazingly enough they fit even in length :p

Good “expensive” jeans are 7 for all mankind, J Brand, etc. I would never get jeans from Valentino or whatever else because they’re not specialized in denim so they wouldn’t make good jeans with a good fit. I used to have a few pairs of RUE21 jeans. I loved them the first wear. But when you wash them, they DRASTICALLY shrink. They still stretch. But I’m a short person. 5’1”, I got regular length and they shrunk so much they became 3/4 length jeans

Walker Patterson men are also a lot more straight up and down whereas women typically have more of a difference between their hips and the waist so it’s a lot harder to find a good fit with just one measurement

I love/hate this series, its so interesting to see but whenever they buy the cheap clothes all I can think of is how much that hurt the environment to produce and how little they paid someone to make it :(

I work at Rue21 and we mark jeans down all the time because we get so many in shipment. My favorite jeans of all time are from Rue and they are thick denim that compliment me in all the right ways and they're amazing, and only $12! All because they went to clearance after a month since we got a bunch of new denim. Although I will say Rue's sizes can either be spot on or completely wrong, so you have to try everything on.

I really wish they would challenge themselves to find the cheapest *sustainable* w.e clothing they wanna go with. It's kind of interesting to see how much quality they can find in the cheapest clothing, but it would be good if they tried a videothat didn't promote fast fashion so much.

I DONUT CARE yes I’m aware I’m a plus size woman. But this series they keep doing is frustrating to watch -Jazzmyne’s expensive item every week is not high end compared to Chloe and Nina. Just goes to show high end fashion has a long ways to go to be inclusive for sizing

Frankie Frank it’s not just sizing it’s her shape. If she were her same weight but curvy she’d have less of a problem. An apple body is a hard body type to dress even if the person is thin. Especially for jeans. I have friends who have that body type and end up resorting to maternity jeans because they aren’t tight on the stomach and baggy in the butt. As for high end forget it 😕

dinkyboss very good point! Jeans are an extremely hard one! But just in general on this series the options for the high end clothing item is just disappointing. Even dresses that should work for Jazzmyne 😕

Not sure anyone is here looking for plus size jeans/denim stuff specifically but universal threads does I believe up to a 24w or 26w (lower plus size) and are carried in most targets!!

Plus sized clothing tends to be more expensive. It's weird that standard clothing in plus sizes tend to be more expensive than smaller sizes, but when it comes to designer wear, plus sizes stay within the same price range?

For short or tall people with thin or thick bodies I 100% recommend Hollister. Before going there, no exaggeration but I never found jeans. Ik it’s hard with the numbers, as they had said in the beginning but you just get a size based on length and width there for example, 23/30. 30 being the length considering my long legs, then 23 being the size of my waist and legs. They have my size perfectly and I’ve known many others who find the perfect size there I rlly do recommend it.
