Having a little sebum in pores and oily skin DOES NOT mean you have acne
@elioraimmanuel
@elioraimmanuel 5 жыл бұрын
Exactly! The sebum is meant for protecting and hydrating the skin. The overuse of garbage skin product is an issue here. They did not open their pores and removed all the oils instead of just the blackheads.
@Acidfunkish
@Acidfunkish 5 жыл бұрын
Sebum is not blackheads, even though they can look similar, sometimes. But no, there's nothing wrong with removing excess sebum. In fact, NOT doing so is what helps enlarge your pores, over time (though, this is mostly down to the genetic lottery). Just try to remember that having oily skin means that you'll have fewer aging signs, when you get older. 😊 And having sebum does not mean you use "garbage" skincare, nor does it mean you're doing ANYTHING ELSE wrong. It means you have pores, which means you have skin. It means that you're human. Nothing else.

Ana L It’s not a fetish, it’s a pretty common satisfaction. Primates pick bugs off of each other all the time, and since we’re in very close relation to them, it’s common for us as well. It basically makes it so humans will do what they can to keep themselves clean, thus it’s satisfying so that we’ll do it more often.

What they're pulling out is sebum in their pores which is supposed to be there. Suctioning them out actually leaves the pores exposed to dirt and bacteria which will inevitably reseal and cause a breakout. You're also stretching out the pores permanently every time you pull the sebum out, making them larger and more noticeable. Unless you have blackheads (which they do not), there's no reason to do this.
@twice12212

@@twice12212 I get your point but I believe that the excess sebum is noticeable on the face when you have not washed your face for too long. The danger part is when the excess sebum gets clogged in the pores hence creating acne so if I suction the pores, I am opening them for the excess sebum to seep in which may or may not clog the pores

Some of you are confusing blackheads with acne. Blackheads (open comedones) are not acne, they are caused by the sebum in the pores becoming oxidized and just about everyone has some. For some people the combination of over productive sebaceous glands (due to genetics, dehydration, overstripping your skin and compromising your barrier function) may clog the pores, then in combination with other factors can cause inflammation (inflammation is present when we see pus and redness, pus is not your sebum) which is when we see acne. But the blackheads themselves are NOT acne. There are many factors ranging from hormones, stress, bacteria, using the wrong products, allergens ect. that can cause acne. Thanks Buzzfeed for helping to feed people misinformation with your title. -A licensed professional

Is having acne quirky or something? I always see people saying I have acne when they don't at all. Like stop it's not fun for the people who do have acne because if that's acne then what do we have? Monsters on our face? Edit: These people barely have black or white heads, someone with acne has a lot more of them, so them saying they have acne triggered me because that is definitely NOT acne. This product for not remove blackheads, it removes sebum which is there to help hydrate your skin. Blackheads do not come out of your pores that easily. Overusing this product will ultimately dry your skin out. Just perform a daily skincare routine and you'll see differences quickly if your cleaning and moisturizing your face. Use products that are recommend by dermatologists. Also avoid peel face masks, those don't get rid of blackheads either. Take care of your skin guys!

Actually pores don't open or close. They are just holes in the skin and there are no muscles that can either open them or close them. However when steamed the face muscles relax and so does the skin which may appear as the pores are "opened" because they appear bigger and as well after washing with ice cold water or rubing with ice cube the facial muscles contract which tightens the skin a bit so the pores appear smaller but they actually aren't.

I got oily skin and it got worse with the medications I'm on (for life) but the only thing I've figured out that works is the following: 1) Honeydew witch hazel toner: use morning and before bed, use before shower 2) Neutrogena transparent facial bar: use in the shower as a facial mask during normal routine, rinse away using cool water (warm water opens pores, cool water closes them), this completely dries out my skin 3) Era Organics tea tree face cream: use after skin is dry from showing to moisturize This routine is the only one that I found that helps me personally without causing irritation, such as redness or burning. I don't wear cosmetics willingly which may help keep my pores cleaner. Everything above can be found on Amazon. Hope this may help for others.

bibbleboo being acne prone and actually having acne is quite different. These people are oily but do not have any acne as of current. Heck it even looks like they don’t have scars. So their acne breakouts are probably mild at best.

Hey! This tool is incredibly helpful! I also suggest if you can using Cetaphil on your skin (if you can, I know some people have sensitivity issues but they also make soap for sensitive skin). I use it every other day on my face and it does pretty well clearing up certain spots where I get break outs! Just thought if anyone wanted to use this information they could
@Jayr714

Cetaphil what?
@shelbyjohnson5990
@shelbyjohnson5990 Жыл бұрын
@@Jayr714 I use the Cetaphil "Daily Facial Cleanser" with a regular facial moisturizer, and then use the "Hero. Clear Collective" line on alternating days, and my skin has NEVER been as clear as it is now and I have had problem skin since teenager-hood as well. Of course I still get a pimple every now and then. I don't care who you are, or how clean you keep your face. You will have one every now and then. But the more you stay on top of your routine, the better it will be! I used to be HORRIBLE for only washing my face when I took a shower, not use any moisturizer afterwards, and using a really gritty scrub like the one St. Ives makes. Don't get me wrong it can be a lot of work, but I think I got away with the Hero. CC line for like $42 and it lasts me a couple months at a time because you don't need very much at all. I know it's been a year+ since these comments were posted but I hope I've helped someone somewhere! Also, don't even bother with this machine. I have one and it was a waste of money. Just take care of your skin, and you won't even need it. XOXO 😘

I’ve had acne my whole life and I just tried it today and it actually worked pretty well! It was only $15 where I live and it was definitely worth the money. I used hot water to open my pores and put almond oil on my face before to help prevent bruising and it extracted most of my whiteheads/didn’t bruise at all. Afterwards I use cold water to close the pores and put some toner on my face.

ACNE is caused by a lack of Vitamin A in the diet and from consumption of fats high in Omega 6 fatty acids. The best cure is to eat foods like beef liver and avoid plant oils (grassfed/finished animal fats are much higher in Omega 3 fatty acids). Palm oil is a major cause of cystic ACNE and is found in almost all processed foods.
