Yeah basically the shirt wasn't actually nice enough to leave it as is. I really thought that the shirt wasn't actually very attractive at all and that these women had to try pretty hard to make it look good.

I was thinking someone would cut it down the centre and make a kimono out of it. I agree. There was a lot of reliance on denim too. I thought the few people that altered the top but cutting or sewing were the most interesting by far. The others were not quite as memorable.

savannawithoutanh or they went “well black will work” another problem was they literally all left it as a shirt, I mean I understand from the poor hand sewing skills seen in the video that they wouldn’t be able to do proper alterations but come on a skirt, shorts, play suit, or romper don’t require that much sewing, and could instantly make a more creative outfit, they could have changed the neckline (yes I realize technically Freddie did) made the shirt asymmetrical like I have at least 20 ideas of what to do with that shirt and only like 5 are leave it as a shirt. They should have watched the Great British Sewing Bee’s transformation challenges for inspiration.

@@anufoalan I do 100% get where your coming from but with these video's their were most likely time constraints and it's not the most common thing to know how to sew. The shirt was also not long enuogh to become a romper. Also even if they did make a skirt or a short I don't think that fabric is the flowy/strecthy kind and it would also ruin the spiral. (No hate and I know it is your opinion☺👌😅)

That first girl did a really great job on her halter top. I love these videos. It is so fun to see what everyone comes up with. I would have made mine a v neck and cropped it and then put two rows of grommets down the center and weaved a string through them so that the center could be cinched. Then I would have tied a bow at the bottom of the cinch to hold it in place and I would wear it with distressed high waisted boyfriend jeans or mom jeans.

I like that Freddie & the lady with the halter style look both actually changed the neckline. The others were cute &/or daring too, but they made theirs look like something other than just a regular or cropped tee so I like those 2 best.

For me Bianca and Jackie were total nonos. I mean first of all Biancas skirt was a tiger print skirt and that is a very powerful pattern on its own. Adding the tye dye with it was not a great choice. Then it’s basically the same problem with Jackie. I feel like they didn’t get the point of the challenge which I feel was make the shirt the focus point of the outfit. The other ones were pretty good and I could tell that it could be a regular outfit that anyone would go out in. Like I was scared to see what Michelle was going to wear but it came out well. That’s my take on it though everyone has their own opinions. Also mixmatched socks seems like you just couldn’t find the match in your laundry.
