At this point I got the feeling that some or the most didn’t play high level ball or just stuck to a certain level, to understand what defense means. On a team you have at most 3 defensive oriented players, the rest can defend. That’s how it goes with great teams. Yeah defense wins Championships but only through Team defense and Team defense = defensive mindset (regardless of players strongpoints) that’s what I experienced. But I don’t wanna speak highly of me but I get what he’s saying and I was a defensive player as well. But pretty good offensively too.

The roster is already win NOW JJ has been given one of the best shooting rosters ever and Jaxon Hayes is taking his criticism and choosing to step up and hold down the middle. The defense is playing so well because they funnel players into swarms of their tall wings similar to the Timberwolves. The shooting alongside dominance of 2 greats will prove itself borderline unstoppable and this will be cemented with how well the debut and playoff run go this year.

I don’t see this working with Dallas/okc/Denver/boston/cleveland, but I do hope I am wrong. I don’t really want to trade Rui/Gabe/AR/vanderbilt, DK has the potential to be really good in the next couple of seasons, but what if we traded him for a young center alongside draft capital for a young guy like Kelal ware/Jalen Duren/kesslar

I would actually do Austin Reaves for Wendall Carter jr.. the reason is that with WCJ we have a center for now and he can be our backup next season to Myles Turner… WCJ makes abut the same as Austin and yes trading Austin Hurts especially since they traded Max.. I would then look to use the 2nd round pick to get Lonzo Ball and bring on Torrey Craig… A big 3 of Luka, Bron & Myles surrounded by 3 & D wings is Ideal!!!

Reaves for Cole Anthony, Kleber for Goga. Technically two separate trades to stay CBA compliant. Goga is a huge upgrade over Kleber, and he’s healthy. And on an amazing descending contract. Anthony is a talent downgrade from Reaves but arguable is a better fit because he’s great on defense and doesn’t need the ball on offense. He’s also under contract an extra year vs Reaves who will get paid $30m+ in 2026.
