As someone that was born and raised in New Mexico and have lived in two other states, I wouldn’t really say the warm and welcoming thing is New Mexico.

I used to think that...until I moved to Arizona. You guys are so diversified you don't even know it. Here in AZ, people tend to divide by race. They have fear and hatred for those who aren't like them. But if you mean social skills, yeah you're correct. I became more outgoing after moving out of NM.

I was born and raised here. This video is not at all what new mexico is like. There is great culture but no on ever talks about the poverty issue, nor the racism, and dont even get me started on the sexist issue. Look I love my home state, it will always be home... But I assure you this video puts sugar all over what nm really is like. But Dam we do got some nice sunsets.

I don't feel this video showed how diverse the people of New Mexico truly are. There was no one from the black community represented. My mother is Hispanic and father black, so growing up here was different but with unique and beautiful experiences. Yes there have been difficulties but I don't believe those were unique to the state. Watching I felt a little disappointed to not see the diversity truly represented. Yes we have a high crime rate, however there is a sense of community that I have never felt anywhere else. I am by no means a world traveler. Mainly I have been to the surrounding states as far as California, and I swear it's like as soon as I cross the border into these other states, a change in attitude and behavior is immediate. Makes me want to turn around and come home. I dont know if it's the familiarity, the people, or the culture, but there is definitely a warmth here that people of all races are drawn to.

New Mexico is not California, most of the people in New Mexico are non white hispanics, white hispanics and brown hispanics. Blacks and asians are a little group.

I'm offended by the "work hard ...work all the time". We, humans, we're not created /meant to work allll the time. this is a "conditioning " of a country, USA, owned by international bankers enslaved by a debt created by the nation's leaders, past and present currently benefitting from this state of being.
