Ok love this and love your content but…with regard to last question on guy A and B- here’s my advice. You do you girl- who gives a s*it if a man is ready to be exclusive. Your world doesn’t revolve around any man- it revolves around you. If they are ready but you aren’t (and it sounds like you’re not truly ready to be exclusive)…than you’re not ready. If they leave or move on smile and wish them well and be grateful you dodged a bullet. You’ll know when you’re ready…whether it’s guy A or B or a totally different man. But for me settling has never been an option. Life is far too short to settle for a “but he’s nice and treats me well”scenario vs one that gives you butterflies and passion. Just remember you call the shots- just because a man wants me to wear lingerie or dress a certain way means absolutely nothing to me- I wear/act/dress/love according to my rules. If they don’t like it ✌🏻. Stay beautiful ladies!

To go along with your advice about the 22 y.o. who's crushing on a co-worker even though she's already in a 2 year relationship with someone else. Just because your crushing on someone else at work doesn't mean your current relationship isn't good. It's not fair to the boyfriend that his girlfriend is thinking about another man romantically. The 22 y.o. needs to take a step back and think about her boyfriend's feelings too. For example, what if her boyfriend felt the same about one of his female coworkers? I would think she would feel hurt, no? It sucks because Americans spend so much time at work and to think that your significant other is falling for a cowoker sucks even more. I think it boils down to if the girl actually likes her current boyfriend or not. Just break up with him if you want to explore other people, it is okay. It'll hurt him less now, than years later.

If you find yourself developing a lot of other crushes over time but still have thoughts of wanting to be with your current partner, maybe consider a conversation to your partner about ethical non monogamy if you think that could be right for you

Not sure if they would ever see this, but for the second person who thinks they have no skills and talents - that is absolutely NOT true! You likely take them for granted because you are so good at them or are used to them. I recommend asking your loved ones what they think you are good and go from there - sometimes the people around us see us more clearly than we can ourselves at times :)

@@rosej9686 Sure, but I don’t recall _her_ saying that she wanted exclusivity. From what I recall, she doesn’t really want to have to break it off with one of them. What she wants is just as valid as what they want. If I was allowed to build a connection with somebody else for an entire year and suddenly one of them wanted to snuff that out, I think it would be fair to counter what they’re asking for with broaching the possibility of polyamory. Maybe what they really want at this point isn’t so much exclusivity, as that doesn’t seem to have bothered them for a whole year, but just evolving the relationship so there’s more commitment. Perhaps they are conflating commitment with exclusivity? I think it’s worth exploring this possibility with them. Besides, can you imagine being exclusive with Guy B and dealing with months of him not talking to you every now and again without Guy A in the picture?

If that's the case, another point in favor of exclusivity would be an end to the exhausting juggling of guys she must be doing, keeping each one a secret from the other. As I see it, it's not an arrangement that can be sustained long term if anyone has any illusion of building a family unit. And just keeping a second option open to fall back on during times when things are rough between her and the guy she fights with (if that's the one she chooses) hardly seems fair to him. How would you like to be a backup for someone who's with someone else and only calls you when they're on the outs with their chosen partner?

But, as they’re aware that they’re not in an exclusive relationship with her, it should be assumed that there’s other guys in the picture. Being a back-up option would be awful. But, it doesn’t sound like she views either of them that way and that’s not really what poly relationships are. She may very well have to pick just one to live with and have a family with (a nesting partner), with their input as to what they desire out of their relationships with her, but that doesn’t mean each individual relationship can’t be fulfilling and appreciated for what it has to offer.
