Hey, fire protection engineering grad here. I loved the video and it was great getting to see Ken again! I actually didn't know that the activation temperature of the sprinklers was varied by the temperature of the solution before the sprinkler is assembled, but it makes a lot of sense and answered a question I have had for a while. Thanks!

Great video! I've also heard that the water in sprinklers tends to be less clean than what's depicted in the media ... I believe technical term is "disgusting." It's stagnant and either oily or rusty (or both), depending on whom I've discussed it with.
