Loved the common courtesy topic. I’m teaching my husband to be polite to people giving service. He never says thank you and it bums me out. I used to work at Dubai airport in customer service and one day an arabic guy misbehaved with me and there was a white guy standing in the queue he said ‘come on man, show some respect’ i almost had tears in my eyes because this guy defended me somehow. I was also a cabin crew in Pakistan and the level of badtameezi that passengers did was just way too much. Aisle mai latak k bethte thay just so when you pass by they can somehow touch you. That’s just one thing that I am mentioning here but there were countless such incidents and so many situations where I cried in the galley because of the rudeness of men in our country. I hope that people listen to your podcasts Junaid to learn some basic manners because its so disappointing to see people from my country being disrespectful and ungrateful to people giving service.

About Heaven. Allah Said in Quaran in Surah e Yasin, In heaven you will be rewarded with anything you want. Any fantasy you have, any wish you have will be fulfilled over there. Apart from it You will be with you family and loved ones. You wont have any anxiety, depression, any psychological issue. Whatever you wish will be granted over there. Your eyes have 3x cones , there you will be able to see many different colours, you will be able to hear many frequencies which you cant hear. You will be able to meet and see Holy Prophet and you will meet Allah swt. Jannat is the place which you will nvr be boared of. Just recall the best time of your life either it was some personal achievement or something related to friends or family , multiply it by many many folds and make it forever. This is how you will feel in Jannah. May Allah send All human beings to jannah one day. Amen

When their own point of view is challenged, they start to shake because usually they aren't challenged themselves and on the offensive when it comes to any religion. @@truehuman6553 there is an organization iEra that does islamic dawah regularly, you can reach them and ask them whatever you want, they have a great panel consisting of people who have immense knowledge of both Islam and science, history, philosophy or psychology. Also there is an organization, Al Asna, that is based on Muslim Skepticism, they offer complete courses on answering questions that a conscious Muslim mind asks. The ex in ex Muslims doesn't stand for expert, they aren't scholars usually. Most of the times, it isn't even skepticism but cherry picking instead of an in depth study. It is actually weird that instead of going through an in depth study of Islam or even the concepts that help you rationalize, you listen to the media and base your opinion on that. This isn't the case with any other subject, if people are to study science, they select the best institute but when it comes to Islam, they learn it through people who don't have sufficient knowledge about Islam. First study it, as if an archaelogist would carefully study details about a civilization not like a fundamentalist that cherry picks.

my take on the last story, I sell fast food in saddar Lahore since October of last year, I come from a good background and learned some manners from my university days as well, so whenever I say greetings to my customers or say thank you at the end when i'm handing over their order to them, most of the people are very shocked that"what...." like I have said some weird spell or something, but let me tell you 99% of the time they instantly become good mannered as well. so the way I see it, if we all start to be more humble and thankful it will have a reaction on others as well, how small it may be but for sure it will keep on moving ahead and will keep on making people thankful.

@AskGanjiswag I have an Israeli colleague in college who is one of the most inquisitive people I know. I realize how much he was encouraged to ask questions, engage in dialogue, and debate with people to find the truth as a kid. Speaking to him makes me realize how I was told repeatedly in my schooling in Pakistan not to ask questions. There is engineering (almost every type), business studies, hotel managemnt etc. You have to identify according to your own field of study. As i have told you i got scattered and limited knowledge. I guess every big province of canada is ok for students. Every province has its own set of rules. You can go for both (masters or bachelors) I follow some people on youtube. For example: This person has studied and currently residing in canada. He has recorded many videos since his day one in canada. The guy has made videos regarding many things and procedures in detail. Toronto and surrounding cities or also called GTA Greater Toronto Area (roughly about 50-60km), you should be able to find a masjid if you drive for 10 minutes in any direction. And as far as halal food is concerned, you name it and you should be able to get it. Toronto has so many mosques, no need to worry about praying. During Ramadan, you don't need to cook for the entire month. Most of the Musjids offer Iftaar and Sahoor. Interestingly there are no restrictions for women to enter any musjid and pray; unlike in Pakistan where I was stopped to enter the Masjid for prayer.
