Big ups coach for the shout out on my favorite fighter in the world, Kamaru Usman. Many "fans" hate him but not many fighters have the mind that he has. That is probably his biggest weapon and unfortunately, the average MMA fan cannot see how strong he is mentally. It will take a gargantuan effort to take that belt from him. Even in the fight that he lost, he lost only because he did not want to be suspended if he was choked out as he would not fight, thereby missing out on money. So, he tapped.

Jiu Jit Su wil NEVER be the most dominant martial art in MMA over wrestling. EVER. Their culture is saturated with make-believe. Wrestling is the TRUTH. When we wrestle, we go 100%. ALWAYS. Our goal is always to dominate, to HUMILIATE our opponent or even training partner. BJJ will continue to he the subordinate martial art as it continues to show “respect” for elders and training partners of higher rank. It’s impossible to have the same growth in discovery of new cutting edge technique with BJJ’s “respectful” approach. Walk into a BJJ gym you must bow. You must line-up according to belt. It’s “disrespectful” to challenge “higher ranks”. In wrestling, all challenges are welcome. And all challenges are settled. Let the best man win. And we have fun with that. BJJ’s belt ranking is a big part of its detriment.
