See the lifestyle promoted by Caldwell Esselstyn. Patients in his studies who stayed with it never had a cardiovascular event again. Despite all of them basically having multiple failed bypass surgeries prior and being told to basically go home and die.

Can you contrast the potential effect of UDP-003 (or other cyclodextrins you may be developing) vs EDTA on reducing CAD?

Sad to hear that Lysoclear hit a brick wall with making GMP quality enzymes for A2E in macular degeneration. I wonder if cyclodextrans from Cyclarity could be used to remove this toxic waste from the retina?

Not directly, but it could still have an impact on the disease. The central intracellular waste driving macular degeneration is a compound related to vitamin A called A2E. Cyclarity's modified cyclodestrin is very unlikely to sequester A2E, but there's evidence that 7KC (which is the target of their modified cyclodextrin) does have a role in the disease process. So it might be useful as a treatment to help slow the disease down, or might also delay the onset in otherwise-healthy aging people - especially those at high risk. Answering those questions will be some time down the road: for now, the focus is on atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease, the number one killer in the world.

Work on such a serious project should inform the public about progress and plans. Six months since the last public appearance (Feb '23) is too long for a company that claims to bring a revolutionary change in the treatment of cholesterol problems and all related diseases.
