Happy Sunday! 🤗 In today’s video I’m doing a Q&A and answering some of the questions you guys asked me via the community tab! There were lots of questions from KZbin, Instagram & Facebook, so they’ll be a part 2 next week. I hope this video is useful and thanks to those of you who posted your questions! ❤️

This is a wonderful video. What is your hair identity? Are you low porosity with fine strands? Or are you high porosity? Thanks!

@@kearstenw3855 Thanks so much! ☺️ So I’m normal porosity, fine strands and with medium to thick density hair.

Hello! Excellent video. You were precise with your answers, love that. As far as your age, I thought you were in your late twenties, no more than your early thirties. You are beautiful. Looking forward to your next video. Have a blessed day and rest of the week.

@@HealthyAfroHair Please, I have another question pertaining to trimming my ends. Is it the whole puffy part I'm going to cut out or just the tips?

@@fabulous_omoge Sorry, only just seen your message. Just trim the sections that look damaged or unhealthy, because you don’t want to cut off anything that’s not necessary.

This was an amazing QnA. When you talked about straightening your natural hair I could see where you were coming from. I found something that works great for my hair (4b/4c), the Tymo Ring Hair Straightening Comb and I use the second temperature setting (150°/302°F) my hair geats really straight, even the roots. When I found a goid heat protectant I'll go up. I have it since last December (Christmas gift) and I used it 4 or 5 times. I love the results each time. The KZbinr NickiBNatural used it in her 4b natural hair (if I'm not mistaken). My hair is at mid-back length I was anemic and had a huge setback but I'm determined to grow it to waist length in the next months. My hair thrives in the stretched state. Thanks for sharing your knowledge with us. Have a great week ❤

Thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed the video 🤗 I think I might know the straightener you’re referring to, but I’ll definitely check out her channel and see for sure. Have a great week too and all the best with your hair journey.

My favorite natural hair influencer😍😍😍 I’ve been natural for a year and 10 months now ,I noticed that my roots are thicker than my hair ,but my hair is not thin or anything I don’t have any heat damage ,I trimmed my hair still the same thing ,when I detangle my hair after a few days the roots go back to their form ,could it be that my hair strand is made up of two hair types on strand??
@HealthyAfroHair
@HealthyAfroHair 3 жыл бұрын
Awww…that’s lovely to know 🥰🥰🥰 Yes, I have the same thing and I’m assuming that it’s because the hair is more condensed at the roots because it’s not as stretched out as the rest of the hairs further down the hair shaft. But if you were to fully straighten your hair, I’m sure it would all appear the same.

No way you are 41 years old?! When you said that you reached a milestone, I thought you were going to say “25” wow! You have a beautiful skin! 👍🏾👏🏾 I know this is not the focus of your channel, but please do share your skin routine!!

Ahhh…bless you 😄 and thanks so much. I don’t really have much of a skincare routine tbh, so it’s really basic. I just use a Tea tree foaming face wash (night & day), use primer by L’Oréal and my foundation. That’s it!

Where am from chemically treated hair is not allowed in government schools. You either have to be in your natural hair or conrows with no added hair.

@@HealthyAfroHair at first for me it was fustrating because no one taught me how to take care of my natural hair everyday and everyone used to say my 4c is ugly but looking back of I know what I know about my hair I could have had waist length and I couldn't have chemically treated it after school..so now more people are embracing natural hair so it working just fine and it even a normal thing because it has being going on for years

Knowing your porosity levels will help with finding the right products to use. I have a video on testing your porosity levels here; kzbin.info/www/bejne/eJepiqajdrehoKc As for your hair type, you can look up some hair typing charts online, although they’re not 💯 accurate.
