Yep, my boyfriend is like that all the time when he wants me to watch. He gets so hyped and ready to show manly gaming skills. Things he says or does when he games while I am watching; 1. (With his boys in Discord call) "Okay, my girlfriend is watching so I must get MVPPPP!" 2. "No! No! I swear I got him! I did! I got the kill!" 3. He literally storytells the mechanics of the game even though you kinda dont have the slightest clue but you find him so cute that you just kept nodding and agreeing and asking for more. 4. He gets frustrated when he doesnt get the win and says sorry to me most of the time. Most of the time, his excuse was that I was being cute just watching him stream and being supportive. Lol, I wish my boyfriend wanted me to watch. He's addicted, we've been together 11 years with a kid, and all he wants to do is be alone and game all day. I'm about to leave him, sadly, there's really nothing else I can do at this point. I've tried all I can to get him to enjoy anything other than gaming, but he won't even work full time or do any of the things around the house - it's all me at this point. It's scary. I don't know if I'm lucky but most of the time i play games with my boyfriend and that's also where we met. Sometimes he plays solo or with his friends and because of travel ban, I just watch him play through live. Idk if he's happy that i watch him, but i do show my support by sending gifts on his live. There's hidden gems deep within tiktok (which is mostly cancer) but my fav tiktok would be that of a girl educating others to respect a guy's gaming hobby/pass time. It's not that he's ignoring you or doesn't care for you, it's that he enjoys doing it, it is no different from him playing other sports or you reading a book (which you wouldn't want anyone disturbing you while reading it). If you can't go out of your way to either let them play or even try playing, and vice versa, then it's most likely not a healthy equal relationship.
