I didn't know he was the one until 13 years into our marriage, I was in the emergency room and just knew in my soul that I probably wouldn't survive. And as I was losing consciousness, I knew my last words to him had to be "I love you". It was a slim chance, but I lived, and he sat by my side for five days straight...every time I would regain a little consciousness, he was sitting next to me, holding my hand. How could you not live, with that kind of energy and love flowing into you? We celebrate 21 years of marriage on May 3rd, 2021.

@@boomshine87 - not everyone marries for love. I did it for a visa to leave the US when I was 19. I liked him, but the plan was to get a divorce eventually. We didn't ever bother to even have a wedding or have anyone attend, and it was a spur of the moment decision with less than 30 minutes from decision to done. We just had so much fun travelling the world as friends with benefits that we never bothered to divorce.

I knew I was in love with him when, despite my best efforts, I couldn’t avoid getting hurt; (he was in the midst of a divorce and had 3 kids and I was trying pretty hard not to have feelings for him. He honestly never wanted to remarry until he met me. He always says he was just done. He didn’t believe it was possible). I got home from work, had that epiphany, and fell to my knees in tears. It hit me so hard. Not soon after that, we were watching tv and he pulled my face in toward his and told me he loved me. I knew then that I would marry him. We were married exactly a year later. We have now been married for seven years, and our second biological child will be born in a few weeks.

I knew when I didn’t try to leave after a few months. Usually I have commitment issues & cause fights & be super annoying (whenever I try to leave they made me feel bad so I always resorted to this). I never wanted to do that with him-we’ve had arguments but always genuinely work through them or let it go depending on what it is bc it’s not worth it. 🙂

I knew she was the one when the engine in my truck blew. I didnt have money to repair it or get another vehicle. I used my vehicle at the time for work. I was talking to her about it and said " I dont know what I'm gonna do I dont have money right now" and she sent me 3,000 dollars the next day. Also.
