Excellent thinking on the jack stand bias setup. I was going down a public road locking up my brakes trying to get an initial adjustment.

Hey Ross: Any insight on why Schumacher would keep adjusting the brake bias mid lap?
@Speedsecrets14 жыл бұрын
Some drivers, in some cars, in some conditions, will adjust bias to suit the conditions, which can change from corner to corner. He may have wanted more rear bias to help rotate the car in tight corners, and more front bias for stability approaching fast corners. Without knowing or seeing where exactly he did it, I'm making assumptions based on what other drivers do.

@@Speedsecrets1 Thanks for the clarification Ross! It was piquing my interest after watching his 2012 Monaco Pole lap onboard.

@@Speedsecrets1 why is more rear bias helping rotate the car? Less wheight in the front = less traction in the front = understeer? I thought the more front bias the brake is the more ur car will rotate, all your weight transfered to the front, making ur car prone to overrotate.
