I love the RP200. I've got like 4 of them right here! I've done plenty of gigs with just one of those and nothing else, no amp, no nothing....turned out great!

I think that most are simply ignorant to how they work. They are virtually flawless. There are even others that run each string on a separate spring and even if you break a string, all of the others stay in tune. Nice feature. For everybody else, there's the Digitech Whammy Pedal if it just eludes them all together.

Thanks so much Tyler! It's been a fun ride for sure and I hope to bug the hell out of people for another year or so! As long as I can stay on my feet, I'll be raising some kind of hell just to piss off the traditionalists and such and to have some good fun with my great friends! Cheers to you my GREAT FRIEND!

You rock Keith my friend!. The road stories could easily get blocked on here, but.....so be it. It's a WHOLE BUNCH of truth. No different than any other DOCUMENTARY out there. So, I'll shoot it, post it and see how it all plays out. Cheers. lol

LOL. I hate that I know the words. But, some of that stuff is so infectious if it's pounded in your brain enough. Especially when I have to DJ a bunch of school dances in a row. The SHATNER stuff is always great! Gotta love it. I loved Stewie's take on Shatner's "Rocket Man" on Family Guy. Classic!

Cheers Scott - made my day hearing you read out and answer my question about when a beginner can call themselves a musician and I can now move forward as a result. So far i am up to part 6 of "Ask Scott Anything". Some challenge you took on there i must say!. Here in the UK you would be known as one of life's characters and what an amazing life you have had so far and I do hope it goes on longer than you think it will. S

Scott, like others have said, you will be greatly missed whenever the time comes. And also as others have said, the first time I watched one of your videos I did take you the wrong way, but so glad I subscribed and kept watching. I so wish more people had your views on life and everything else. I really appreciate your frankness and sense of humour too! I can't stand the majority of folk who live live like sheep following the herd and talk bullsh*t all the time!

I have a few laptops here with cameras. I could probably hook that up via Skype or something. It would be fun. You know, I've always wanted that pinball machine myself and my wife loves pinball as well, so it would be no problem to put one in here and she would continute to play it after I kick the bucket. I'm having a hard time finding one withing 200 miles of here to go pick up. They all seem to be on the East Coast for some reason. If one shows up in Las Vegas, It's mine!

I have no clue how the Beatles became what they were, but........I don't see how most people ever got a record deal either. Hell, they handed over awards after awards to "Milli Vanilli" and they never sang a note. Shows you what the corporate "Suits" that own all of the recording industry REALLY know. lol

Hi matey, have a look on the Stewart Macdonald website. On the left lower down somewhere is a link to their tech articles and there is a scale length and fret position calculator. StewMac aren't always a good thing but that tool might give you a start. (Sorry Scott for answering for you ;-) hehe....)

Hey Scott, The second guitar that i bought had a floyd rose. Once I figured out how to set it up properly it never went out of tune 99.9 % of the time. Why are people looking for a bridge that will keep the guitar in tune if it already exists? Are they just lazy or just ignorant? I meant it looks cool and you can hit an open harmonic and do stupid fun dive bombs.

Thanks my friend! Yeah, most of them do judge on just one video. They don't know which ones are meant to be a joke or a "Spinal Tap" parody type of thing and are founded on nothing but the stupid shit that people spew on forums every day. I don't make any disclaimers at the beginning of THOSE videos and then people lose their minds and the lynch mob comes out. lol Amazing how fast people can turn on a guy when he simply tries to be funny. lol Cheers my man! Scott

Hey Scott! What's your take on studio musicians (Brent Mason, Tommy Tedesco, Larry Carlton, etc) being superior to the usual names people throw out as being the "best". Also as far as strings on acoustic guitars go, is there a downside, besides tone being affected, to putting a set of 10s on my Baby Taylor acoustic. Taylor insists nothing less than 12s should be used since the neck might get warped. Thanks man.

For the simple reason that nobody wants them made right. They want them to be made the VINTAGE WAY. WIth all of the problem built into them. They've simply heard that Vintage is the way to go and why fix what isn't broken. But, they don't realize that they've been broken for decades. lol A few companies have tried and they were out of business in under a few months. Parker Guitars tried, but were forced to build normal crap to stay in business. Modulus still isn't a huge name. So sad.

You know, a question has occurred to me. Why hasn't someone with some sense manufactured guitars the correct way on a mass scale like fender or gibson? Roller bridges and nuts, with artificial body and neck that isn't subject to moisture?

So have you ever actually seen anything strange out there in the desert, as far as inexplicable phenomenon go? I almost had the chance to see the Marfa lights when I was out in west Texas as a teenager, but, it was a choice between that and the observatory on the one extra night we had left on our trip, and unfortunately the grown-ups decided on the stupid observatory (which was nothing exciting at all, unless of course you think waiting in a long line just to see a white dot on a telescope is exciting), because the Marfa lights don't show up every night, and so they weren't sure we would even be able to see them. Man, I'm still pissed about that >:( The one time I had the chance, but nooooooo, we had to go to that stupid observatory....lol

51MontyPython Dude, there is so much cool stuff out here. Between Nellis Air Force Base and Area 51 (both right here), all you have to do is drive in that general direction on a back road through the mountains and you are pretty much guaranteed to have an INTERESTING evening, If you get bored.....just pull up to the gates at area 51 and stir up some tension and then drive away and simply watch the protocol work its magic to make sure you are on your way. It's fun to poke the bear with a stick. lol
