You are one of my top 3 favorite KZbin channels. Thank you so much for the clarity with which you teach and that you bring to the text. I consider you up there with Michael Heiser’s podcast and the Bema Podcast.

May I just say that your teaching comes so aptly when I need it. Last year I came across your teaching series about the parable of the Lost Son in Luke 15. That changed my life. You have no idea how you have encouraged me in my walk with Jesus. From the bottom of my heart I am grateful to have found your channel through your Dad posting a link in his LinkedIn account. God has annointed your teaching series to reach hearts like mine. I truly need to revisit the Sermon on the Mount cause I want to improve my prayer life. I need to be more intentional. You have a GIFT to bless people with the Gospel. God bless you and your family!

God HASN'T given me good things. Every day it is some other catastrophe. Piling on more and more things that make me withdraw more every day. Please God! I am at my end. I can't take anymore. My struggle is too great. Why do you do this to me? Why don't you help me, whatever that is? Every time I ask for a good thing, I get 10 bad. I have asked for decades to no avail. I've banged on your door until my spiritual hands are bloody. Haven't I done all that you require of me? I have asked, I have sought, I have knocked, what else can I do?

nice vids! hope you will add Honor and Shame eastern thinking on your next teaching series
@WalkingTheText3 жыл бұрын
Thank you, Iverson! All of our teachings have an eastern thinking approach as this is one of our components of teaching the cultural context of the Bible. Some videos highlight this explicitly; other videos are more implicit. Here's one of our teachings where we discuss honor and shame: Episode 099 - Parable of the Lost Son Pt 6: Shame on the Cross kzbin.info/www/bejne/r2qlXqGpocZ6idU. Thanks!
