I think that the wood/table example may have been more effective in answering the question by using tree/table. You can derive many various wooden objects out of a tree but you can't compose a tree from those wooden objects.

You always give an example of pot and clay, gold and jwellery, wood and table to explain that we the forms are nothing but one which appears as many. However there is a middle man in between table and wood a carpenter, gold and jwellery a goldsmith etc. where is the or who is the middle man between the supreme consciousness and we all ? Dr Shailendra 🙏 By which mechanism supreme consciousness gets converted into the matter and visible world. I understand that this is Maya but as carpenter uses his tools to carve a wood and create a table, how consciousness is being converted in to a world?

Blessings Swamiji, all. These amazing 'powers' can create a distraction indeed. If viewed as a confirmation of the power of God they serve their purpose well and indeed when understood as a confirmation of the reality of the existence of God their real power is to turn one's attention and focus towards only God and away from the ego Self and further one's journey in the right direction, their 'attainment' will not, should not remain the focus of one's attention, instead reinforcing one's faith in the good, by his grace God becomes the means and the ends of one's objective. Brought up without faith and most profane the stirrings of these 'powers' in my life were the kick I was missing, weakening and undermining my ignorance to the point where listening to the words of His Swamis, absorbing His wisdom through the words of enlightened beings such as yourself acting as living conduits of His wisdom have become important to me, far more important than any thoughts of attaining impressive powers for the ego Self that I am happy to bid a fond farewell to, it was that little ego who 's curiosity brought me to His feet after all so I am thankful for it's help where it was needed. Probably the most exciting Q&A by Maharaj! Deep question on Drik Drsya Viveka and a beautiful precise answer by Maharaj. With regards regards to the behavior of a Jnani at 21:52, not sure if we can rely on our perception of a Jnani. It can be deceiving. Maybe rely on sruti pramanam as that is the final say for Advaitins. The sruti equates ashariratvam (unembodiness) with liberation. The following is from Chandogya 8.12.1 and (Brahmasutra bhashya) BS 1.1.4 CH 8.12.1 "Happiness and sorrow do not touch one who has become definitely unembodied"80 (Ch. VIII. xii. 1). मघवन्मर्त्यं वा इदं शरीरमात्तं मृत्युना तदस्यामृतस्याशरीरस्यात्मनोऽधिष्ठानमात्तो वै सशरीरः प्रियाप्रियाभ्यां न वै सशरीरस्य सतः प्रियाप्रिययोरपहतिरस्त्यशरीरं वाव सन्तं न प्रियाप्रिये स्पृशतः ॥ ८.१२.१ ॥ Indra, this body is mortal. It has been captured by death. Yet it is the base of the Self, which is immortal and formless. One who has a body is subject to both happiness and unhappiness. In fact, there is no end to happiness and unhappiness so long as one has a body. But when a person is free from the body, nothing good or bad can touch him. BS 1.1.4 Opponent: Suppose we argue that this unembodiedness comes when the body falls, but it cannot be so for a living man. Vedantin: Not so, for the idea of embodiedness is a result of false nescience. Unless it be through the false ignorance of identifying the Self with the body, there can be no embodiedness for the Self. And we said that the unembodiedness of the Self is eternal, since it is not a product of action. Thus since embodiedness is the result of a false perception, it is established that the enlightened man has no embodiedness even while living. There is also the Smrti text starting with, "What is the description of the man of steady knowledge, merged in Samadhi?" (Gita, II. 54), which while setting forth the characteristic of a man of steady (well-poised) wisdom, reveal that in the case of an enlightened man there is a total absence of any connection with any impulsion to work. Hence a man who has realized his own identity with Brahman cannot continue to have the worldly state just as before, whereas the man who continues to have the worldly state just as before has not realized his identity with Brahman. Moreover, they (the knowers of Brahman) say, "When on the realization of the Existence-Brahman as I, the body, son, etc. become sublated and consequently the secondary and false selves cease to exist, how can there be any action (prompted by injunction and prohibition)? The Self can he a knowing agent earlier than the rise of the complete knowledge of Brahman that has to be sought for; but (when that search has been finished), the knower, freed from the defect of sin, becomes one with the entity arrived at through thc search. The ultimate final answer is given by Gaudapada in Karika. Did we not say the world is not real? There is no Jnani! न निरोधो न चोत्पत्तिर्न बद्धो न च साधकः ।
न मुमुक्षुर्न वै मुक्त इत्येषा परमार्थता ॥ ३२ ॥ na nirodho na cotpattirna baddho na ca sādhakaḥ |
na mumukṣurna vai mukta ityeṣā paramārthatā || 32 || 2.32. There is no dissolution, no birth, none in bondage, none aspiring for wisdom, no seeker of liberation and none liberated. This is the absolute truth.

If there are two independent Realities, as the followers of the Sankhya philosophy assert, then of the two, one: either one came first or the two were born together. If one arose earlier, then the one that came later is clearly less fundamental and derives from the first. If the two appeared synchronously, then they are actually one and the same Reality. In other words, they stand for the following. The ocean needs the waves to move and the waves need the ocean to exist; but both are independent, separate realities. No. They haven't realized yet that waves and ocean are one and the same reality.
