To eat roughly 1400 cal a day but still have a cheat day - I eat 1200 cal for 6 days and that leaves me 2600 cals to eat for chosen day, or of i’m hungry ill make it 1800 cal one day and 2000 the other day. :). Just make sure your weekly intake results in a caloric deficit and you’re good. Eat what u want.

@@cormac2515 wrong, search up "anabolic diet" it's a diet full of satiating high protein low calorie foods.

@@cormac2515 um no, it depends on the type of foods you eat. Like yesterday I ate eggs bacon sweet potato and toast for breakfast then a big chicken salad for lunch and then a burrito for dinner plus snacks like yogurt and popcorn and that was all 1200 calories and I was walking around bloated af cause that’s a lot of food for me. It depends on the quality of food you eat not the volume. Also for a small person thats the perfect amount of calories to consume to lose weight at a healthy rate.

Don’t listen to these people. Cheat day is good. I skip rope first thing in the morning from Monday to Friday (except Wednesday). I eat between 10 am and 2 pm from Monday to Friday (2000 calories). And then I bike 15 km or more after work from Monday to Friday. Now hear me out, i go berserk on the weekend. I probably eat 10k calories on the weekend. I lost 50 pounds in 6 months loool

I would say it depends on the person. I have a cheat day every week and fast the entire day after and I've been losing weight no problem. I would say the best thing for someone would be to consult your doctor and don't overdue it. If losing weight is your goal remember it'll be easier to keep it off if you lose it in a way that isn't to extreme for you to maintain after it's gone

Guys cheat days are okay. If you want to eat something, go eat it. Cheat days help you motivate yourself even more too >:)

An average man should eat 2000 calories a day to lose weight at a healthy rate. So if u make sure your eating roughly 1000 calories a day 6 days a week, u got 8000 calories to play with for that cheat day once a week. (That’s what i’ve been doing the last 5 months and i’ve gone from 90kg to 62kg)

Beet i would not starve for 6 days a week just to go berserk on the 7th day. 2500 calories a day for a male is fine with an active lifestyle. (90 minutes of walking). I’ve lost a healthy 2 kg a month this way for 7 months. Americans just want to be extreme at everything they do.

Dirk Tillaard starving might not be the best option but ive been eating 1200 calories everyday for the past month and i lost 7 kg so its definetely worth it

What if you're doing OMAD? Then you really don't have a choice but to have a cheat day since you only eat one meal a day. Just wondering...

I am doing omad as well but post eating carbs on a cheat meal it’s really hard to fast later on. Only post a healthy balanced diet am I able to sustain my fasting.

Lost 38kg but it was first when a lost 8-10 kg that i started to have cheatday every month it never harm me i stil lost bodyfat and weight. one time when i eas sick for 8days or 9day i eated like a cow lol lost 1,7kg started whit workout and be in cal dificit . but ya it depent on the person.

@@Black-lv4bi Wow same I used to eat 300-500 calories a day and I worked out for 20 minutes 5 days a week But now I changed my diet so am really scared, now I eat 450-600 calories all protein (same workout routine) This is why I need advice if I can have a cheat day again?! 🤷‍♀

Me too and I lost 30 kg as well from 85 to 56.9 still need to loose 4 kg to reach my goal. AND YES I HAVE. AND TAKE CHEAT DAYS ONCE A WEEKÉK AND AM STILL LOOSING WAIT.

@@fatherzerk5841 i think u r right, now am eating 400 calories a day though I know it's not healthy but all I eat is protein, and am doing ok.. For me it's this or never losing weight Me gaining weight made me a lot of social and mental problems I stopped living, going anywhere, always wearing black and I used to be a social open person So although I know it's not right but it's helping me much more than harm Unfortunately I never commit to slow normal weight loss I started a month ago and I have lost 9 kgs so far 👍

Unless you’re under 12 years old, eating less than 1200kcal/day is really not ideal for the average adult but hey, you do you. The average adult needs 14000kcal/week, so that leaves you about 5600kcal worth of cheat meals in a week

Tô lose weight you need to be in a caloric deficit and that is it. Portion control and eating too late is bollocks. Your body doesn’t know store more fat after a certain time

I can put weight on easy im a 20 year old male, I've struggled a lot with my food relationship,I've tried a lot of different things Evan to the point of vomiting of every meal that I ate just because I did not want to

Don't do that it sounds like bulumia. Bulimia can lead to rotting your teeth. Maybe you should see if there is something medical underlying your weight gain. From what I have heard a male on a diet should eat 1500 calories. You have to exercise as well because that is what makes it more effective. Also another side note is don't starve yourself. As a male don't even go below 900 calories. If you starve yourself you don't provide your organs the proper nutrients and it can lead to organ damage as well as rapidly gaining the weight back.

wow... all the information in this video is wrong. Surprise they call themselves experts. Everybody is different. Some people have more willpower than others. Some people excersize more. To generalize not having a cheat day is wrong. You can go on vacation for a week or two, enjoy your time and comeback and get right back on track. You can have a cheat day or meal and still lose weight. Don't believe that you can't.
