New Confidence?? Leading companies sometimes tend to be complacent and lose their stand in the market, but it seems Dynaudio is far from that. Continously in search of improvements, progressive research & development, well equipped facilities for the team. I shouldnt be surprised a jaw dropping new series coming out anytime soon. Like how new Confidence turns up out of the blue? Haha! I thought bringing out Special Forty and the new Contours were alot to take in. Now Confidence?? Good job, Dyns! Keep up the good work!

I've watched some videos of you. Really impressed about your new technology. When will your products hit our market in Sri Lanka? The best sound I've ever heard came from Pioneer Speaker systems (4 way - 4 speaker - imported from Saudi Arabia) in early 1980s. Really interested to know more. Best Regards!

Hi Sumedha. ☺️ Thanks for your favorable opinion. Unfortunately, there is no information about when Dynaudio will hit the market in Sri Lanka. 🙁 But keep tuned in case if there any good news for you. Cheers, Viktorija

Very interesting, thanks a lot for explaining. All that was missing is a sneak preview :) I was wondering what happens to the sounds image when DDC (1st gen) is used in a room with a very high ceiling (10m). Does this have any effect on dynamic or staging in a positive or negative way?
@dynaudio5 жыл бұрын
Hi Jeroen. No problem! I talked to Otto about your question. Here's what he said: "The DDC specifically means that the sound is less affected by the type and height of the ceiling, so having DDC will be an advantage. A room with a very high ceiling requires higher SPL at the loudspeaker, to provide a given SPL in the listening position, especially at lower frequencies - but this is true for any loudspeaker. Overall, DDC should provide an advantage, all else being equal." I hope that helps, Christopher.

Can this be replicated? As in put in the car and audio sent to driver in a shop? I've heard of people Immitating the process. Great product If used for original intention of it's creator idea.

Who's just now watching this in 2020? Because current attempts to explain this tech.... rubbish. "The sound is in your head"

Same, I came from some add about a home audio "sound beaming" device. Said something about the soundwaves remaining ultrasonic until just outside your ear canals, when they become audible? Wtf does that mean? Does anyone have some academic links on this topic?

@@mle9852 That was SUPER helpful thank you, and makes much more sense now. It doesn't so much generate the sound waves "right outside your eardrum" and I definitely wouldn't say the sound is "in your head". How I'm understanding it, they use parallel 65kHz signals and construct and interference pattern within those signals that generates frequencies we can actually hear. Someone chime in if they think I got any of that way wrong.
