Just diagnosed. Mine was from trauma received by bad hypnosis in instilling false memories. I am getting better, but diagnosis was a long time coming. From 2003 until 2019. Wish more neurologists knew about this. Thank you for information.

I am having much difficulty finding practitioners who know about PNES in Utah. I am researching and contacting practitioners. I would be grateful if I could help with a database. I will document my progress and gladly share any information.

All you can do. My episodes last weeks during which I have tongue biting, pant/bed wetting, emergency service, come to in positions that could have killed me events. I play like a child to treat myself and have to work really hard to have interest when episodic. Still I force myself and this is when I find my next hobby. Water colors for now. Puzzles are great for many reasons related to psychology. Giant bubbles with my German Shepard. All you can do is distract yourself. I hope you have a good support network. From what I understand this gets better. I still sleep with a mouth piece. I get pretty wrestles in my sleep.

Non epileptic seizures can be caused by diabetes or a brain tumour or a heart condition
Non epileptic seizures shouldn’t affect your baby growth but it can affect mental Health as they get older I have non epileptic seizures I have been having them since I was a kid and having a poor support can lead to depression and anxiety as long as you give your child a lot of support going through these seizures everything will be okay
