My LH surge is always more clear in the AM and the line is so faint in the afternoon and night. So for me AM works best!

Generally, it takes some time for the LH hormone to build up enough in the body to show up in the urine for the ovulation test, but not for all! If you're finding you always have better results in the morning, go with it and stick to it. If you are testing in the late morning to afternoon, be sure to limit liquids 2 hours before testing.
