Ask us anything: Real talk on diversity (Panel Discussion, 6 August 2024)

Ever had a question about migrants or refugees? One that might be uncomfortable or feel silly to raise? This panel discussion created a safe, respectful, and honest space for the virtual audience to ask their burning or seemingly obvious questions.
The panellists - Tanja, David, Mary, Josh and Iram - have diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds. They answered a range of audience questions, sharing their personal experiences of racism, their thoughts on the term ‘refugee’, and insights on how they maintain their culture in an Australian society.
