Yeah, it's pretty interesting. Best smithing ever in a survival game though has got to be Vintage Story. So in depth. And the chiselling system in that game is unreal.

Hardest survival game Ive played solo. Still trying to survive bear attacks and skells....nm winter @ -20c....brrr....havnt been able tompass winter....Im at my 3rd retry from the beging....way to hard on green players.

I made the large axe head first but when I sent it to quench it shattered and one of the pieces turned to slag. Any ideas as to why?

Unfortunately, I've just been dropping it. What might help to avoid slag is letting the heat almost fall to that minimum heat line before adding heat again to stay away from that second too hot line
