Why I don’t have metal part after my tool crash ? It’s already fix? And one what about villagers they too have metal parts of tools? Thank you guys for guides, really help with cooking!

You should get Metal Parts whenever a tool breaks. Also, if you build the new Metal Part Collector that has been added to the Tech Tree, Villagers should drop their Metal Parts into that storage automatically instead of keeping it on them. If you don't get any Metal Parts when a tool breaks, I would report it as bug in the official Discord, so the devs can look into it. And thank you for enjoying our content! ✨

I didn't perceive that the "Bloomer" was wasting materials. He would simply bloom till the basket was full then he would stop. A couple of things I learned later was if you make a "small carpentry storage" or "small crafting material storage" (I can't remember which one it was) the warehouse worker kept taking the "nails" and my metal worker just kept making nails. Even if the "task" is set to none on storing nails. Same thing with the "broken parts storage".

Thanks for sharing, that’s interesting. Maybe you have a better experience than us! While they did improve the Metalworker with an update in July, we still experienced that villagers that work at the Bloomery often stop their tasks when leaving for Leisure and Sleep - with a hot bloom on the anvil. When we last tested it, villagers also didn’t cope with much more than a 3 to 17 ratio and would waste a lot of Coal, while we can do 5, or 6… might of course be our save games that have an issue. 😃 Ah, yes, weapons and armor storage, carpentry and more (in warehouses) will cause various crafters to craft more and more and more. I guess you still have a task for Nails at your Workshop, so if someone (even unintended) takes them out, they will recraft what they’re tasked with. Hopefully we'll see a few more AI fixes soon!

@@Pixelcave Maybe he was wasting coal and I didn't realize it. I run all villagers and their perspective trades in day and night shifts. "Saved" work shifts. Day shift is 4 and 5am hours leisure, 6am-5pm hour is work, 6pm-7pm hours is leisure and 8pm to 3am hour is sleep. I do the exact opposite for the night shift. Their leisure doesn't run into each other and I always got a villager on their perspective trade. So like for the "Bloomer" one leaves and the next one starts working. Of course, my village had 8 cottages, 64 villagers.😄

Does the waste happen if you schedule a second villager to work the night shift and take over when the first goes to leisure and sleep? That's what I'm going to try
@kelsowilz25224 ай бұрын
@@shvmoz I always do that with every occupation. So at the time of my post yes...they kept doing it. That update about a month ago may have changed things. I haven't played with the update yet.

@@shvmoz Having 2 overlapping shifts should prevent it - if you have enough villagers to spare, then why not. Haven't really tried much since the update that was supposed to fix it, but they said workers should finish their task now before leaving. If that works as intended, that would of course be ideal.

Game mechanics need rethinking, less time consuming grind and more fun. Exploration is dull and unfulfilling. 15 hours was enough for me to put this game on the shelf till it's reworked.

It's still early days and it depends what you're looking for. We personally had plenty of hours of fun playtime, but it might be a good idea to wait for the really big updates to experience the real deal. They said we'll get more exploration to other islands with boats and a lot more, it simply needs more development time to get there.
