Hii great video! I just wanted to ask if these type of questions are always in the paper 3 like titration and if they are like yk similar in structure ?? Also can you please do these types of vids for the 2nd and 3rd questions would be really appreciated!

Is that 50cm³ as an initial burrete reading wrong 🤔? Cos when you gonna look for a titre is going to be final minus initial and its not making..........🤔!!That's the only think am concerned about!!Everything is quite💯💯👍👍

Yeah , the initial was supposed to be 0.00, not 50.00

hey my exam is tomorrow and i have a question, do you calculate the volume of FA2 added including the initial bit that was added before the solution turns yellow? or only after the indicator was added \?

Hey! Good luck tomorrow 🥰 They don't specify but it makes sense that the titration starts after the indicator is added because that is when we can indicate that a change will be made. (You can also write that you made an assumption on the exam paper)

Hey thank you so much for this video. I would like to ask, in this specific paper does the titration start from as soon as we start adding FA2 from the burette or only after the 10 drops of starch indicator? Because I was confused as to why your initial burette reading is 50.00 and not 0.00

Hey! You're very welcome🥰 They don't specify but it makes sense that the titration starts after the indicator is added because that is when we can indicate that a change will be made. Also when filling up a burette, the top will say 50.00 cm3 and at the bottom where the tip/nozzle is, you'll find that it says 0.00 cm3. So when we open the nozzle the liquid pours out and we go from for example 50.00 to 46.00, you'll just do the subtraction.

@@AskAseel Thank you for your reply, I was just confused bcuz the burettes at my school are the opposite the top says 0.00 and the bottom is 50.00😂 but anyways so after I’ve added the 10 drops, would I refill the burette again until the top mark?

@daliaganim9463 OHHH lmaoo 😂 It's the opposite for me whoops. You can refill to be on the safer side, but usually, it shouldn't take more than 25 cm3 to see a colour change. Even if you run out, you can refill the burette and keep note of how much of the solution you used.

@@Nam.kid_fx depends on how much you need. If you realise you need atleast 30 cm3 of ur solvent and the whole burrette is only 50cm3 then u can add more so u don’t have to stop in the middle of ur experiment when u want to do it for the second time
