I've seen a LOT of different "Teaching" videos on KZbin and I have to say, this is the first one I have recommended to friends. The combination of information, camera angles, and the amazing editing you did by inserting taxi diagrams etc was just fantastic. I was originally going to go to UNSW Bachelor of Aviation course which gets you a CPL and an ATPL. They also have a QANTAS Link which enters you to the cadet ship program to receive a job straight after training. Should I go to flight school or the UNSW course.

This video gives you an idea of what you'll learn on your first flying lesson. It is not specific to any one airplane which is why some procedures specific to this airplane have been omitted. It is not meant to replace actual flight training. Hope you enjoy it.

Your a very good teacher. My daughters gave me some time in the right seat at a local airport. I have been watching as much as possible about the first flight from airport markings / Alpha thru Zulu talk speak. The ride will be wonderful but the learning aspect is just as interesting. My CFI was a bit more gruff than you, Cap'n Scott. He was an old A-6 pilot from the 'nam era. He was direct, to the point, and didn't take any shortcuts (not saying you're not good). When it came time to solo, I wasn't scared; I knew I was ready. Same for that PPL check ride. Glad I got to learn with him! May he RIP.
