Sir ...I own ignis ...I've been driving this car for 7 months now ..and I'm highly satisfied customer..I never cared whether car would be hit or not ..but it ticked all my needs ..as you said rightly ...it's a global car ..I kept this thing in my mind ... The other reason ..that I could figure Out why this car is not "chart buster is that it falls under premium tag and people confuse it with celareo..the kind price I paid for it ..7.45 lac on road ..I could switch to sedan or a compact sedan. So that's where this car is under decent sale chart and not chart buster .. because only the people who know " what they are buying" and what exactly they need ...and not interested in what " Sharma ji and vermaji'a are buying ..are buying ignis ..I mean only sure footed people are buying this car and that is also a reason why u don't get to see ignis very often on indian road. On the other hand Tata has done tremendous job with Tiago ..I must congratulate Tata for this wonderful job ..I had both the option for me...but I still went for ignis for its global status and much better A.C. and paid extra premium ..but no regrets .

Easy to drive, easy parking and comfortable in congested areas. Looks ? It is totally depending on personal choice. As for me, I favor its design. According to experts, Ignis is a all round winner.

i bought this car(petrol manual mid variant) 6 months ago driven 5000 kms that too on crappy village roads it is nice only problem with this car is its looks( from front it is good but back its crap) it gives good mileage(around 18-21), suspension is average(but definitely better than baleno) ride quality is really good it is fun to drive this car ground clearance is good, if you are from rural side or you drive most on crappy roads and low on budget go for this car even in city it is fun to drive it is small and easy to move in traffic and you stand different from others because you cant see this car more on roads,it is a quality car and worth a buy. (if you are buying car just for rear looks please ignore this comment)

True review..... I am an ignis owner and honestly speaking.. its one of the best car in its segment in driving, space, steering ease, ground clearance, mileage, and quality. Petrol mileage i got on delhi to shimla Highway 21.9 (what more u can imagine) I purchased this car after consulting with carguru... Meray pass Ignis hai Mar'17 se. Isko mainay har terrain mai chalaya hai. Last trip thi Dehradun- Jammu - Moghul road-Srinagar-kargil -Leh. Ignis ki handling, driving height, ground clearance and inner cabin/boot space excellent hai. Bahar se zaroor choti dikhti ho but inner space is more than swift and equivalent cars. It's an amazing vehicle. I am happy that I bought this vehicle after months of research and many test drives which included Jazz, tiago, i10 Grande etc. Ignis rocks.

मैं इग्निस जेटा 1.2 MT पिछले 1 महीने से इस्तेमाल कर रहा , 900km चलाने के बाद समझ मे आया कि ये कार मेरी पिछली कार स्विफ्ट vxi से 40% बेहतर है, शहर में 14-16 km/L और हाइवे पर 19-21 km/L की मायलेज मिल रहा , इंटेरीयर शानदार है! सबसे बड़ी बात की बुकिंग के 7 सप्ताह के बाद ये कार मुझे मिल पाया

For the first time I don't agree with car guru. Totally wrong comparison. When we say Ignis is not doing well we mean in comparison to other Maruti cars. Compare Dzire, Alto, Baleno, Swift sales numbers with Ignis. It will be be a clear loser. The fact that people are not buying this car in big numbers shows that there is a problem. Customer is not a fool. He understands good & not so good. The figures are dipping already Ignis sales are going down.
